Only notice it oof too I had a few issues with that too is it a setting? I do sometime notice when I focus the green dot comes up and image is still oof
Looks like the sky is just too bright and the light is "leaking" around the branches. It's called diffraction. Waves in any form - light waves, sound waves, ocean waves, or otherwise - will always do this, it's just physics. This is a image I took today and it something I have never overcome on this Sony I hardly got it when I was with the D750 but it not put me off till now.. I am wondering and I am sure all camera suffers from it at some degree but how does the Fuji cope.. Here a image to show what i mean the upper right where tree branch is..

Would a filter not help as wellIf I'm seeing it right, it's just CA which you get in scenes of high contrast (dark tree against bright sky). You could try either using the built in CA correction in Lightroom (if you use it), selectively reduce the blue saturation in that area of the scene or use an ND grad filter in the first place![]()
Hey @tijuana taxi as you're in Cambridge let's have some shots of the Syd Barrett artworks going up in the city. You know you can do it.
Just seen Jessops are doing 10% off the X-T2 this weekend, none in stock, but good price if you are happy waiting for the next shipment to arrive.
Camera price buster and code was WEEKEND10 http://www.camerapricebuster.co.uk/Fujifilm/Fujifilm-X-System-Cameras/Fujifilm-X-T2-Camera-BodyWhere did you see this? Can't see it on their website.
No offence mate but I would suggest this is down to your PP skills then, I've not found one case where I can't get the RAW/RAF file to look better than jpeg in terms of noise and detail. Colours are a different matter and jpegs have some voodoo magic going on (all brands I've used) although often I can get them 98-99% there![]()

The link worked because it took me to their site.
Unless opening the RAF and JPEG side by side in LR is a "skill"? then no, I'm talking before I even touch them. Nothing wrong with my eyes either. And I would say I'm above average with my PP skills. So no offence taken, you're just wrong.
Now when i saw worse, it's in some cases, maybe where there's underexposure, or dark backing, depends on the image. When you push them process-wise, the RAF should of course stand up to more. Maybe it's just from working on Nikon RAW files for so long, the Fuji ones pale in comparison. nothing to really get hung up on, was just an observation, and it may have just been that batch where i really noticed.
Just wondering if I could order it like this but then trade in my X-T10 when I go to collect or if the trade-in (and £100 trade in bonus) is only available to walk-in customers. Wish I'd seen this during store opening hours!
I've noticed Lightroom do some weird things when first opening up a RAF file, basically its default preview. One I select one of the Fuji film simulations, usually Velvia or Provia as a base I then do my own tweaks and I'm finally happy with how I'm able to work with these Fuji RAWS.
Mentions trade in on the same page, order it up, print it out and give it a try.
Be quick, online chat available until 18.00 on Sunday
Caught them but not good news. It's home delivery only and trade-in would need to be completed before placing order.... And the offer ends tonight and won't be extended. If only I'd seen this yesterday!
Well that's very conflicting, copied the chat, but having trouble pasting it here
Edit managed to save it as a word doc, clearly says yes, will try and paste it on a pm
Very weird, still worth buying the t2 and selling the xt10 privately, still 40 quid up using weekend10 over their trade in offer and probably get more than they would pay part exYou can't seem to select Collect in store as an option?

Oh well worth a try, bound to be more savings again soon, good old Black Friday end of the monthHmmm. Not sure it's worth the hassle. Used X-T10 body only on eBay going for £300 - less fees equals £270, which is £100 less than the trade-in value (with the extra bonus added). It is still a £40 saving as you say but then there's the hassle of selling the X-T10 privately. Would have been a no-brainer had I been able to trade in and take advantage of the weekend 10 deal!

Becky-1 by Ryan Jarvis, on FlickrHi there @tijuana taxi@mickledore tried, but failed, Corn Exchange where they are being displayed was closed today, will try again next time. Shame as new to me X-Pro2 (traded with barrysprout) was on its maiden outing to take them with.
Will try again another time, camera used will dictate what thread they are shown in, will tag you whatever

Both shot with X-T2 and 90mm F2 lens. Fantastic lens!
Sadly, they look **** on here, they are sharper on flickr![]()
Sadly the focus is on the back of the ring so I'd bin it personally.had the x-t1 and 16-55 in the bag at a wedding last month. this was the only shot i took with it. my friend took the same shot with the d810 and 24-70vr. we both preferred our own shots!

Edit - it says Collect in store isn't available - you can select it, but it then defaults to home delivery page :-(.
Thanks anyway!

I like the first shot. Was that natural light or did you use a flash for the rim lighting?A couple from a pregnancy shoot today. Shot in RAW, changed camera profile to Pro Neg Standard and PP'd from there...

Well obviously I don't know what your PP skills are like, but all I was saying is that I've never found a Fuji jpeg that I can't make better with the RAFWhat's "skill" got to do with anything? You think processing in LR requires some? It's moving a few sliders, and I would say I'm above average "skill" in terms of processing. Nothing wrong with my eyes either.

Ahh right, now I get you. Ignore my post above then. But RAW will always look washed out and soft compared to jpeg with no processing by it's very nature. It's this way with my D750, and any other camera I've usedyeah, I was talking when you open them up, if you compare the Jpeg and RAF side by side. Obviously the Jpeg has been pre-processed in camera, so it may have an advantage. But just eyeing noise levels and exposure overall, the Jpegs often look much better to me. It might be more a personal preference thing, but it's certainly nothing to do with "skill"
There's shooters who will never even try Jpeg, and I was like that for years with Nikon. The RAWs were just so good there was never a need
