The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

The Acros Simulation is only available for X-Pro2 and X-T2 and it's not the same algorithms as the in camera conversion

The same is true of all the others to an extent as well - you'll only get the colours right, the tone curve you have to figure out yourself. (and in the case of Acros, that's a large part of what makes it special, as is the in camera grain effect which will not be replicable in LR.)

Like it George, think the PP suits it and adds to the disused look.

Interesting building in the background, based on a ship by the looks of it, seen a hotel over here in the same style, but can't remember where

Many thanks for that Rich, much appreciate your comments.(y)

"When you say over here I think you probably mean the UK, I'm back in the UK at the moment and the building in the background is "The Burstin Hotel" in Folkestone"

George.

Ordered the same ggs screen protector from Amazon so glad to hear it fits correctly.

No Longer Available.

The very one I was thinking of, in fact I stayed there for a weekend, remember it looks very shabby around the back

So the disused station must be Folkestone Harbour, threw me with the railroad bit, thanks for the nostalgia reminder with your nice photo

The very place Sir,(y)

"Sorry about the railroad bit but as I'm from the USA I kinda get used to calling them that":D

Loving the XT2 so far. Paired it with the 23/56 combo for now but i'm looking to add a 10-24 and eventually telephoto.

Unfortunately i've sprained my wrist so i'm limited to what I can shoot, which is a real PITA!

Aren't mirrorless supposed to be lightweight .

Anyone received word about when the next batch of XT2's will arrive? I have a feeling this might drag :sulk:
I had an email reply from wex today saying they are hopeful that they should get the next batch next week but can't guarantee it.

I've sent my xt1 off to them as a part ex but If you are buying outright have you tried Chiswick Cameras. It let's you order on the website bit might be worth a phone call to check.

I've traded in as well, so stuck for now. I leave the UK in a few weeks though so I hope it comes soon, Disappointing process so far...

Managed to grab a few shots of our kitten in the garden earlier... I'm really loving that 50-140mm. It's as good as anything I've ever owned. :)

This is nice! I've just got that lens delivered. I've a few of my pup and they're sharp as a tack and sharper than the Canon 70-200 2.8 II I once had. Did you get the teleconverter too? I did and don't see much of a difference in IQ, if any.
