How long did it take you to propose to her?? And how many other brands did you try out first?
I suspect Rookies will he disappointed with whatever he gets.Rookies, just my opinion, but I think you'll be disappointed by the XT1 based on your other posts over the months about various cameras and IQ ...

But I've seen some stunning images on here and Flickr. I've even downloaded some raw off internet some at 6400 ISO and was impress ok maybe not as clean as d750 but I need ask myself can i adjust

Voice of experience?
But you can get stunning images out of any camera. If you hadn't mentioned IQ in your posts about the XT1 and it was a case of just fancying one then I'd say go for it. But you got rid of your first 750 due to IQ etc etc etc
Rooks, it's really very easy. Do you have a credit card? If not, get one. Buy a cheap used X-T1 and 18-55mm kit and then try it. That gives you a month or so to decide whether you like it, and if not, sell it before you have to actually pay for it
BTW, did someone mention Roses? Coffee for me, followed by strawberry then orange![]()
Nobody has mentioned the purple ones yet. They are the bestest!
Noooooo. I eat them first!Mmm, purple.
I love roses. Not the hard caramel toffee ones though, they always get left til last.
Noooooo. I eat them first!
It's a deal :nana:Next Christmas we should do Roses swapsies lol
Honestly mate I know I'm probably wasting my time here but you've only just got the D750, after owning an A7 for a month (which you were proclaiming undying love for in February). Chill out and stick with it for a bit at least. You're also making it an extremely expensive hobby for yourself. But I've seen some stunning images on here and Flickr. @rookies Take it from someone else who has been guilty in the past of chopping and changing constantly!!
The D750 from an IQ perspective is awesome, theres very little from any manufacturer that can touch it so if its pure IQ your interested in stay where you are, to be blunt the XT1 isn't a match for the D750 at all.
If its purely size your interested in then the Fuji is a good shout, as is the A7/A7ii, but it sounds like your in search of the ultimate in IQ and that isn't the XT1 but what you already have.
there always the X pro 2 !Having had a couple of beers- well I am off for a few days. Don`t know about the Sony but got to agree with above X T1 vs D750.
Biggest Fuji negs are view finder- great electronic view finder but wearing glasses I find the Nikon better & easier to view in sunlight, Fuji battery life, focus not as good as Nikon, and as Chris and others have said ultimate IQ/24mp vs 16.
Probably a load of other things but its late.
and the XT2? in a few months and andthere always the X pro 2 !![]()
Since I bought my X pro 2 a couple of months back, my XT 1 hasn't really seen the light of day. I took it out last weekend and I'd forgotten how bright and big the EVF is. I'm debating whether to sell it as it's not getting used. I hate letting nice cameras go though.
Sell it to rookies then we can have some peace!Since I bought my X pro 2 a couple of months back, my XT 1 hasn't really seen the light of day. Indeed. Great photos were taken with what we would now think of as mediocre equipment!I am certain, in my case and some others, the limiting factor in getting good pictures is the bit behind the camera and where you point it not the Fuji, Nikon or most other modern- and older- cameras
EDIT - will still get the XT2 when it comes out though![]()
There will be no peace.Sell it to rookies then we can have some peace!
I was like that with the big Canon 5D3. Couldn't make the move to sell. Finally took the pluinge and haven't missed it.
Is it time to unsubscribe from this thread? There will be no peace.
First is the chat about switching, then comes chat about accessories, then another litany of posts about lenses and their sharpness, AF, etc.![]()
