Now then has anyone else noticed the XT1 screens cannot display bright reds properly? Lots of red cars yesterday, shooting in Velvlia simulation and they all looked like they'd been sat in the sun for 10 years on camera screen all washed out and faded, yet on the laptop with calibrated screen they come out absolutely fine, as you'd expect of course from Fuji's colour processing.
 
So I might be getting an xt1 tomorrow, thinking the 18-135 kit with the grip then the 16mm aswell. I think I can then afford another lens and was thinking either the 27 for the small size or the 23, or do I go for the 56mm? Choices choices choices, what's your thoughts people? What would you go for?
 
The 56 is great, but I'm more likely to have the 35mm with me. It's sharp, light, fast, reasonably quick to focus on the xt1 and I like the fov .

The 18-135mm makes a great walk around in good light,if you want to take a fair few shots in low light add the 23mm or if your into portrait or need a longer fast lens the 56mm :)
 
Haha. Well I hate to say it but sometimes I have to do the grown up thing :(
 
Although now I'm thinking buy body only and get the 16-55 and 50-140...
 
Well I've decided to return the grip. The clip thing (as previously mentioned) has started to fail and the lock on the door is also playing up. Will return on Monday for a full refund.

Phew, what would we do without David to try out all the gear first :)

BTW as an aside I nearly made an offer for your X-E1/X-E2 case the other day before remembering I have an X-T1 :lol: Too many mushy braincells methinks o_O
 
Would make it a lot more interesting if the track really was like that :)
