An old Crumpler Pretty Boy 5500XL, despite being small it just managed to hold an X-T1 with 50-140 attached, another X-T1 and the 23 and 56.

I've been meaning to change it but it's so difficult to figure out what would hold that stuff online, and there are no shops vaguely locally that hold stock.
 
Don you worry what shutter speed you use? Do you have a minimum target.

It's boxed up ready to be sold. I wanted to avoid all temptation of keeping it as I need the money right now. I'll definitely buy one again though, and maybe this time actually read the manual.

I see...

What other camera you got then? Or just need money at the moment and so you get another when your comfy again.. I know how you feel in this regard. If you were nearby I think i would of pop to your tmr and bough yours off you. But your right down south..

Not really but i do keep an eye on it and raise the iso when needed. Shooting auto iso would sort that though. I shoot in aperture priority mode always unless shooting flash then i go with full manual.

The Fuji files are naturally good straight out of camera and i usually apply one of the profiles in Lr which normally gives them a bit of an extra boost.

Do you have the Shutter speed set to a Minimum when you have ISO set at auto?

Just need the money really but it's short term so I'll pick one up again next month or so. In the meantime I'll just have to keep visiting this thread to fill the void left behind. :)

Not to worry, turns out Fuji, in their wisdom, have put the pkg file within the exe which macs can't open. :rolleyes:

Try right clicking. Should get a fly out menu. Choose Show Contents. Maybe it'll show you the pkg.

I don't get "Show Contents" but when I double click the exe, I get the zip file. When I double click the zip file, I get the exe and so on and so on...............

Not only that but you also need the HS-V5 software installed before you can install the package. HS-V5 is Windows only of course! There should be a plug in available soon through adobe which from my understanding will not need the HS-V5 software (which costs £90!) But I'm not sure what the cost of the plug-in from Adobe will be.

Well I'm not that bothered about tethering at this stage, just wanted to see what was what after the firmware update.

Still seems strange that my old Sony came with software that allowed tethering and worked very well with LR yet it still isn't standard with newer cameras.

Maybe try this

Continuing on with the theme of inspecting the contents of app installers, you can also extract package files and sort through their contents without actually installing them. To do this, you can often just right-click on a pkg file and select “Show Package Contents” – but that isn’t always displayed. Assuming that option is unavailable, we can extract .pkg files using a command line tool called pkgutil that is bundled with OS X:

  • Launch Terminal (in /Applications/Utilities/)
  • Use the following syntax:
    pkgutil --expand/path/to/package.pkg /output/destination/

    Hint: recall that you can drag & drop items into the Terminal to print their full path, making this tip easier by typing: pkgutil –expand [drop file here] /destination/path/
    extract-package-file.jpg

  • Go to the outputs path in the Finder and check out the extracted files
You’ll notice that some package files contain even more package files, quickly leading you into a deeply nested package extraction process. Other than that, this is an excellent way to see what’s contained within packages, particularly the ones where the alt-click “Show Package Contents” option isn’t available, which is increasingly common in Mac OS X Lion, although ultimately it depends on how the package was constructed.
