I really like the Viltrox 35/1.7... but you only have one 60th, and there's just something magical about the Fuji 35/1.4. If you can afford it, definitely get it.60th coming up, do I go for -
Fuji 35/1.4 + Viltrox 15/1.7. About £500
Or
Viltrox 15/1.7 & Viltrox 35/1.7. Probably £325ish.
Is it the law that the x-pro1 must have a Fuji 35 to go with it ???

Yes absolutely. Remember they’re made for each other. The f1.4 that is.Is it the law that the x-pro1 must have a Fuji 35 to go with it ???

Great capture George. Very difficult to capture isolated subjects this time of year, especially on a beach.A candid street style Snap captured a lady relaxing on a public bench at the water’s edge. She looked as if she might be “Watching and Waiting”.

Fabulous capture….!!!Hi folks,
I recently visited Camden Town whilst on a visit to London with the family. I thought I'd try my hand at some street photography with the X100V. I am extremely new to this genre, only really started to dabble with it since getting the Fuji last year. I popped the aperture in f8, kept the rest in auto with a minimum shutter of 1/250 (I think?)
Any comments/critique is welcome.

Basically what I said a few weeks ago then. The X100VI is a masterpiece with tech that justifies the cost. I’ve had and sold the F & V variants but the addition of Ibis and the new sensor are game changers. So GAS has gotten the better of me and in the last month I've ended up buying both an X100VI and now an X-E5. It was never my intention to keep both, and I even thought I might sell the X100VI and my X-T5 and just keep the X-E5. However...
There's lots of claims online that "the X-E5 is an X100VI with interchangeable lenses".
It's not. It's the worst of both the X-T5 and X100VI worlds.
The only things I like about it are interchangeable lenses (good if you don't have a camera with them already) and the colour of the screen is actually better than the X100VI. It's crisper and whiter.
- It's weighty but feels plastic.
- With the 23mm lens attached it's too big to fit in a jeans/shorts pocket whereas the X100VI fits.
- The X100VI dials are better, especially the combined shutter and ISO dial.
- I'm not sure of the point of the film sim dial on the X-E5 given custom recipes via the quick menu are a better option.
- The shutter noise is horrible. It's like a Wish.com version of the XT-5 one and awful compared to the X100VI.
- The lens is softer than the X100VI even with all settings identical.
Im going to try and return the X-E5 and get a refund, but I reckon I'll be out of luck.
I'm sticking with the X-T5 and the X100VI.
Jeez dude you’ve ruined my weekend. I’ve an X-E5 coming next week. I wanted a small lightweight travel camera with the 40mpx sensor and ibis. Is it really that bad ? I’ve sold all my Fuji cameras, X-pro 3 X-T3 X-S20. Just keeping my all time favourite X-Pro 2. I’ll give it a go when it arrives before I make my mind up. I bought direct from Fuji, I wonder what their return policy is ?So GAS has gotten the better of me and in the last month I've ended up buying both an X100VI and now an X-E5. I have.I`m seriously thinking of chopping my 100-400 in for a 50-140, as I don`t tend to use it that much now days. Has anyone else done a similar thing?
Maybe it's just because I have the others, and I've never used an X-Pro 2, so can't comment on your specific position. I do hope you love it though. New camera day is special.Jeez dude you’ve ruined my weekend. I’ve an X-E5 coming next week. I wanted a small lightweight travel camera with the 40mpx sensor and ibis. Is it really that bad ? Well maybe (hypothetically speaking) a trade/ swap + might be madeI have.
Mainly for a wedding, the 50-140 is so good for the evening/candid shots, but it's sat unused ever since. I've got the 75-300(with 1.4 tc) which must be my most used lens now. I'm tempted to sell my 50-140, and may, just may, be interested in your 100-400, but don't get excited - if you post a for sale thread and remember please let me know!

XT-3 is still a great camera and feels like a solid bit of kit, unlike some of the more recent models.Severe Fuji itch coming on,thinking XT50 with 16-50 from Fuji refurb or XT 3 +? Or get rid of A7C and go for XT5 and ?
All started with a desire for X100 vi and it's escalated.Upcoming trip to Fjords coming up has got me thinking I just want decent SOOC pics.
Thank you GeorgeAnother "Excellent" landscape/seascape style capture Nick.
