The Fabulous Fuji X owners thread

Been faffing around all day, doing nada. So thought i`d try a different way of stacking, being that C1 express cant. So via bridge/acr/ ps, I managed to open as layers (I always used to open all files), and it kinda worked ok I think.
Anyway ...

H1 23mm f5.6 1/8 iso200 (28 image stack).

Another quick picture taken whilst at work earlier today. This was taken middle of the day so the light wasn't ideal to put it mildly. Under normal circumstances I'd have returned later (or possibly even better next morning) but given that this would rightly be frowned upon due to the current situation it wasn't really an option. As an alternative I went for a 5 shot bracket HDR merged in Affinity. This isn't a technique I use very often (read pretty much ever) so be gentle with me :)

Worked well
Being picky, I would lose a bit of foreground grass, being there`s not much going on. But then again, I`m crap at anything landscape, so what do I know ;)

Thanks for the input, to be honest I agree I think I got carried away cloning out power lines and neglected the composition :)

Looks much better IMHO

I for one can't wait until the X-T4 is available :)

I've got my name on one for sure.

A few edits, reprinted on Fotospeed Matt Ultra A2 and framed - original shot X100F

I find by going to 16x9 you can get a better overall image, as you keep the perspective, and lose the wasted space in front of you. Think it worked out well, and it's a nice image. The sheep really add to it.

Beautiful capture Donna, you nailed it, wOw - love the colours and sharpness. It's a cracker of a lens for sure, I enjoy mine.
Yeah, I'm quite impressed. Was a little dubious when I bought it as it is quite an old lens compared, but great fun to use
Yeah, I love mine. You got in very close here though!
The joy of my 16-80 is that I can get in close, but can't with the 55-200, so even with quite heavy cropping on this picture, I was still pleased with the sharpness.
Superb image, really lovely.
Thank you
“Cracking” shot, nuff said.
Thanks very much

Has anyone heard if the X-T3 will be getting the classic negative film simulation via a firmware update at all?
I am really enjoying it via Capture one, a search on google gives mixed answers - yes it will come via an update and also no it wont.
Would love to have it as a SOOC jpeg on some images without having to process the RAWs to achieve it.

Fujifilm have never put a later release film sim onto an existing camera - so don't hold your breath

Wot he said......

Brilliant depth from the stack, looks great against the black background!

Thanks Stuart, I actually went out to pick one of the bright yellow tulips, but they've gone past their best. So I grabbed a red one and this Dandelion Clock. I think the yellow on black would have looked great :sneaky:

Funny how all three "Book" images, so far have been processed in mono :)

Had really nice walk with Susie this morning, and as it helped clear my head a bit I thought I`d go downstairs with the X-H1 + XF80mm in the breeze.

Very nice Dave, I'm really tempted with the 80mm, maybe at the end of all this I'll make the leap.

I have changed my mind on the Xpro2, but still giving away Free a camera. It will be the X-E3 instead now.
I don't blame you, I was looking to buy a X-E3 before all this started and now all spending is on hold until we see what finances are going to look like. The X-Pro 2 is a great camera, I love the output from the X-Pro1 but it is a world away in every other department.

The last month or so I have spent so much on cameras and lenses I have now stopped ( for the moment) but last night treated my self to a All in One PC, as this laptop is slowing down a bit still love it but the new PC will have a 23.8 IPS screen so it should be fun. Then in a month or so I might get a lens back that to me is Fujis best.

What might that be? 90mm...
