Great action shot!
Another MG Maestro bites the dust.
Lol yes another one gone I guess.
I remember my best friend having the MG maestro turbo back in the day a shame the build quality didn’t match the performance it was so bo_Oo_Ody quick

To true, that and the Montego. Both proper sleepers that sadly came out of British Leyland and were thus flawed right from the start.

I can't say too much though as I am a diehard Rover fan :exit:

My bucket list is still waiting to be fulfilled with either a Rover P6 or an SD1 (bothin 3.5 V8 spec)

Don't know about others, but I'm liking this revamped thread "Very Much". Its really good to see folk from other Fuji-X threads contributing with images etc that I for one probably wouldn't have seen, as I must admit I don't often drift into the other Fuji-X threads. "KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK".

George.

Cagey75, trevorbray and Phiggys. Thank you for the likes I haven't done a lot with my camera lately and it was time I picked it up again.

I'm guilty of not using my gear much lately too, apart from some family snaps - which are important to but I rarely ever upload those outside of my private FB - on the more creative side I think I've hit a it of a slump. They happen, but they also pass :)

The XF16-55mm f2.8 is now back on the X-H1, and it can stay on it for good now. Shot at f2.8 Susie. If it`s dry tomorrow might go on a church hunt with this after the gym. Sooc as well.

That damn 16-55 is just too good!! Even wide open its a sharp lens and I am finding myself not needing (but still wanting) a few primes in this range. Unlike with Nikon when I rarely took the 24-70 out, this I can see going everywhere!

I really do like this 16-55mm a lot, as pin sharp wide open and as you say it takes over from other Primes. The way of my thinking at the moment I might get rid of my 35mm f2 sometime but will wait and see.

That's what I ended up doing. I held on to the 35 when I got the zoom but it didn't take long before the 35 was being left in the bag. Sure, it's a stop faster but I feel the 16-55 is actually sharper, and I didn't really need both so I sold the 35. It's nice to have the prime too, for when you want to travel lighter or be that bit more stealthy, but I'll actually still choose the extra weight to have the much better range all in one.

As an all in one lens imo I think it is great as I`ve got use to the weight now, can`t wait till I try it in some Churches round here.

The only two lenses I use the most now are the XF16-55mm and XF90mm, the other two I just don`t use so will have to really think whether to get rid or keep

I had the Canon 85 1.8 to try out as a poor man's 90mm alt, but it does suffer from purple fringing wide open, stopped down a bit it's decent and only 1/3rd the price of a used 90mm - but, I would love that 90. Very nice combination with the 16-55 right there

I think the XF90mm f2 is in a class of it`s own and totally love using mine.

It’s a pity you don’t have 2 X-H1’s as both those lenses aren’ stabilised. I’m leaning towards keeping the X-T3 and getting the 16mm 1.4 and then keeping the 90mm f2 on my X-H1. This would then stay that way 85% of the time. My X-T1 has the 35mm f1.4 glued to it. The other 15% of the time I go with either the 50-140mm or the 100-400mm depending on need, My Macro work is now mainly on the Canon 80D with the 100mm L Macro.

Both the 90 and 16-55 are quite small, the 90 is great on the X-T3 but I am glad the 16-55 is on the H1.

The 90 F2 is the only other lens I am looking to buy, but at present I can't justify it. Wen I shot Canon, the 135 F2 was my favourite lens on a FF body, so I bet this would be similar :)

If the 90mm f2 is not the best Fuji lens, then it`s got to be 2nd as for me I think it`s fantastic.

It seems to be between the 90 F2 and the 16 1.4 when it comes to people suggesting Fuji's best prime at least. Very different lenses, and I'd love to try both at some point. I wouldn't buy the 16 owning the 16-55 though, it's one or other, as different as they may be, I hate redundancy - it would be the 16 + a 35 or 50mm to replace.
