Lol yes another one gone I guess.
I remember my best friend having the MG maestro turbo back in the day a shame the build quality didn’t match the performance it was so bdy quick

To true, that and the Montego. Both proper sleepers that sadly came out of British Leyland and were thus flawed right from the start.
I can't say too much though as I am a diehard Rover fan![]()

Nothing wrong with Rovers they made some lovely cars in there day
Me I’m a diehard Jaguar fan got my first one in May2017 ticking something else off my bucket list![]()
My bucket list is still waiting to be fulfilled with either a Rover P6 or an SD1 (bothin 3.5 V8 spec)
I haven't posted any images for quite some time so I took the X-H1 & 16-55 f2.8 to the Reading Society of Model Engineers monthly open day today, SOOC jpegs.

Nice studio style Fujigraph, looks very appetising.
George.
Cagey75, trevorbray and Phiggys. Thank you for the likes I haven't done a lot with my camera lately and it was time I picked it up again.
That damn 16-55 is just too good!! Even wide open its a sharp lens and I am finding myself not needing (but still wanting) a few primes in this range. Unlike with Nikon when I rarely took the 24-70 out, this I can see going everywhere!
I really do like this 16-55mm a lot, as pin sharp wide open and as you say it takes over from other Primes. The way of my thinking at the moment I might get rid of my 35mm f2 sometime but will wait and see.
That's what I ended up doing. I held on to the 35 when I got the zoom but it didn't take long before the 35 was being left in the bag. Sure, it's a stop faster but I feel the 16-55 is actually sharper, and I didn't really need both so I sold the 35. It's nice to have the prime too, for when you want to travel lighter or be that bit more stealthy, but I'll actually still choose the extra weight to have the much better range all in one.
The only two lenses I use the most now are the XF16-55mm and XF90mm, the other two I just don`t use so will have to really think whether to get rid or keep![]()
I had the Canon 85 1.8 to try out as a poor man's 90mm alt, but it does suffer from purple fringing wide open, stopped down a bit it's decent and only 1/3rd the price of a used 90mm - but, I would love that 90. Very nice combination with the 16-55 right there

It’s a pity you don’t have 2 X-H1’s as both those lenses aren’ stabilised. I’m leaning towards keeping the X-T3 and getting the 16mm 1.4 and then keeping the 90mm f2 on my X-H1. This would then stay that way 85% of the time. My X-T1 has the 35mm f1.4 glued to it. The other 15% of the time I go with either the 50-140mm or the 100-400mm depending on need, My Macro work is now mainly on the Canon 80D with the 100mm L Macro.
The 90 F2 is the only other lens I am looking to buy, but at present I can't justify it. Wen I shot Canon, the 135 F2 was my favourite lens on a FF body, so I bet this would be similar![]()
I think the XF90mm f2 is in a class of it`s own and totally love using mine.
