One thing I'd have to decide is do I like tilty screens or fully articulated screens. Years ago when I had the Panny G1 I liked its fully articulated screen but I've since got used to the tilting screens the cameras I have now have. I suppose the ideal would be a screen that did it all.
Do you have a preference?
If you're not into video and don't do selfies then I think tilt screens are better, I dislike that fully articulated are a two move process to tilt it, i.e. flip out then tilt. One thing I'd have to decide is do I like tilty screens or fully articulated screens. Fabulous set of images and like others have said the owl shot is a cracker. Was this down near the lower hide?
I’m really missing my LM visits due to a broken ankle…grrrr![]()

Do people see aperture rings on lenses like this or any other as being the deciding thing?
I never use them so it doesn't matter to me or not. I wish they'd go back to non fly by wire focus rings so we have the distance/range scale back on lenses."Leaked" picture of that 24-70mm...

Nothing to do with the lens but the way the camera works.I've just been using my Sigma 85mm DG DN to analyse the difference between f1.4 and f1.8 and I've noticed that if I use burst shooting the focus often misses critical focus (static subject) whereas single shot seems to nail it the vast majority of time, has anyone else noticed this with the lens? (I use BBF AF-C)

At shallow DOF your best using AF-S obviously easier with static subjects.
From my experience with Sony AF-C has usually been more reliable than AF-S but not with this lens, I'll just have to change the way I use with with static subjects. Hopefully it'll be reliable on the session day I have booked, I'll be using AF-C as people tend to moveNothing to do with the lens but the way the camera works.

I'll get the dock to see if there's an update, I'm guessing you need the Sigma specific one and the Samyang dock won't work on Sigma lenses?
Looks like there's a camera update too, I'm still on version 2.0 and there's now 3.2From my experience with Sony AF-C has usually been more reliable than AF-S but not with this lens, I'll just have to change the way I use with with static subjects. Yeah, no matter how good they get I still don't find 3rd party are as good as the better Sony lenses.Lenses with slower AF may not keep up with the tiny fluctuations/corrections/calculations of the continuous autofocus
