Guess these will be seriously small and light weight maybe pancake but a lot of people were hoping for f/1.8 lenses.
Good option for A7c users maybe.

24 might be a nice option instead of the 35mm f2.8 all the time.
I didn’t know this either, shows you how much I look at the boxes (I assume mine will say EU/UK then?)
What I don’t understand is if selling on what is the difference (other than ethics) moving on a grey import vs equipment you bought yourself whilst on holiday for example? I’m not convinced many people who buy equipment abroad declare it on their way back into the UK![]()
Well these will disappoint a lot of people.
50mm f/2.5 odd ball
40mm f/2.5 odd ball
24mm f/2.8 who wants that

I’ve never noticed a sticker like that, but what I do notice is that the box isn’t sealed with the Sony stickerJust noticed that Panamoz anyway now remove the country of origin sticker before shipping so you can’t tell from the box. On my 35GM box you can see were the China sticker has been removed.
Rubbish, who passed those through?Well these will disappoint a lot of people.

Surely people know that if they buy anything outside of the EU then they have to declare it, what else do they think the declare goods/nothing to declare aisles are for?well you do not declare it on the understanding that you have already paid the tax where ever you bought it. I don't think you are expected to pay tax twice.
but I can generally sell UK models for a higher price and some people are not keen on buying grey imports. Also if people know its a grey import (regardless how you got it I guess) the used price will be based off the grey import price instead of the used price.
Some people prefer primes. And I quite like 24mm.Seems a strange set to me might as well just use a 24-70 or similar rather than buying all 3 lenses. Maybe it will turn out that these are aimed at video.

Having said that, they are possibly coming up against decent copies of the Samyangs.Yes, a compact 24 and 35, 40 or 50mm would make a nice 2 or 3 lens set, if not interested in wide apertures. I took a 24 and a 50 out the other days and was very happy
Interesting the 28mm seems to be being ignored.

I get the point of lenses up to 28mm or so being f2.5 or f2.8 as they’ll mainly be used for landscapes and other things that need large DOF, but anything over that and I think they need to be f1.8 as a minimum to be able to give reasonable shallow DOF. Just my opinion of courseOn f2.5's, I used a Nikon 35mm f2.5 today. I bought it because it was cheap, seemed to be in good condition and because the f2.5 seemed to be a bit of a novelty. You can even get quite a bit of separation at f2.5.
It will be interesting to see what these are and how they perform but I think f2.8's right, maybe these are aimed at A7c owners but they may well interest people who want to travel light or aren't interested in wide apertures.
I still prefer manual lenses with exif contacts. With being G's these Sony lenses could be well made, optically good and with aperture rings but all that and that G badge could bump the prices up. I'd imagine the Samyangs will be cheaper but they could still find many happy buyers.
We'll soon know more![]()

Bummer..e-infinity?
Yep. In stock there..

Cheers, but I've got a better feeling with Panamoz and the extra two years warranty is nice.
I just noticed E-Infiniti have the Sigma 35mm 1.2 at less than a grand, so that's over £300 saving. Nice.

Your neighbors get annoyed at you cutting the grass?Might cut the grass, just to annoy the neighbours.

No sun here either, looks the most uninspiring day ever just grey and gloomy.
Like that here I think it reminds people it needs doing.Whenever I cut ours the neighbours cut theirs, not the same day but within a day or so. It happens time after time but it must be just a coincidence![]()

Anyone know where I can download some A9/A9II raw files from? Looking for shots taken with the 200-600mm if possible and ideally wildlife that needs some major cropping.
