I think they look nice and with aperture rings too although I know this divides opinion. I wonder what the manual focus will be like? I can't say I'll buy any of these but I think some people will be interested.

Anyone buying?

They look to me like they were made with the A7C in mind.

The lenses have been shipped and they're on their way to the UK shops. Hopefully they'll arrive Thursday/Friday which means I could have it Saturday with some luck.

I sold it because I had no use for it in lockdown and wanted to free the cash back up for other stuff

I’ve been going through a lot of different gear lately, selling and buying..

But in buying the A1’s I was getting a really good deal, so I added the 35 and 135 for a great discount

Must of been a hell of a discount to make up for what you lost selling and rebuying the 135mm.

There are very few bits of gear I wouldn't part with 24GM, 35GM and the 135GM are 3 of them.

sold a used one for £1200, bought a new one for £1250 - not too bad.

Bought a Leica lens last week, sold it this week for £100 more, i'll take it.

the 35GM works out at £1275, and the A1 at £5225 each - good ole Panamoz

Yip its a bit nuts when you count it all up over the years. I have also spent a ton with WEX and a few others as well. Near enough to buy a small house all told. :ROFLMAO:

Yep but determined not to give in and pre-order one.

I am usually pretty good at waiting but gave in and got the 35GM as I needed to ditch some cash. Luckily enough my lens wasn't in the batch that was recalled but it easily could have been so will wait a while for the 50GM.
 
Really strange, I have but another snap in "Flickr Explore" this very morning if anyone fancies a look.

Its a snap I shot with my RX10M4 a time or two ago along the "South Bank" (London) of some of the pods on the "London Eye" tourist attraction. The snaps actually been on Flickr and TP before but not very special, so like quite a few of my latest incarnations its one that I've re-visited with a different PP approach and I like it now much more.
 
The rumor site thinks that the new small G lenses will be announced today.

I'll read the reviews and I may be tempted, never say never, and maybe possibly if these are really nice but if these are aimed at the A7c I think they're solving a problem that shouldn't really exist. Just put a front dial on the RF styled bodies Sony. I know that wont happen as some have been calling for this for the A6xxx line for years and it hasn't happened.

While I'm here :D

I often visit this tree and I liked the sky so I took the picture. It's on the way to a nice patch of bramble bushes. We're still using last years but we're getting low. Yesterday we had bramble and apply pies and custard and we're working through a nice batch of bramble juice.

A7 and Voigtlander 35mm f1.4.
