A6400 or A6500?
I have the A6400, it was delivered the other day.
A6400 or A6500?
A6400 or A6500?
None, as have it both the R IV and A7 III.
I prefer IBIS particularly for adapted lenses, but I do have 2 ISS lenses. Has the A6400 any IQ benefits in the real world, such as dynamic range? No IBIS or IBIS?
Probably going to be the A6500 then. Never used tracking - not even on the Z6.Same... A6500 has IBIS the A6400 has better AF inc real time tracking so depends what you value more.

Cheers Dave, not best suited to panning along the Thames though LOLIt`s a cracking lens that`s for sure, nice shots too.
I love my 6500, I’ve only really used it for macro up until recently but I’m setting it up for video now. The A9 will stay connected to the 200-600 for the time being.I prefer IBIS particularly for adapted lenses, but I do have 2 ISS lenses. I've been complaining of this for quite some time, to the point photos look embarrassingly soft and so I feel the need to mention it. To say this is a dedicated photography website I find it very odd that this has not been addressed. My photos look much better on other non-photography dedicated sites. My pictures seem to look really soft here recently. Has anyone else noticed softeness?
I'm using imgur and I'm sure things looked a lot crisper a while ago. Has something changed?

That's what I doIt's not great. Best option is to probably upload via Flickr and then people can be re-directed onto there. Not ideal but at least that way the full image with settings can be viewed also.

It is indeed, I've read that it's so sharp that if used as a portrait lens care must be taken not to show up blemishes on the subjects skin that might not be seen on another portrait lens. The FE90mm macro must be very very good, as not one place has new in stock for delivery at all.

Excellent, I've found it to be a stellar lens in many areas. Works well with extension tubes and Raynox adapter. One new FE 90mm macro on order for tomorrow delivery, I hope![]()
