probably because you spent the time using your camera for photography and not worrying about gear, knobs, bells and whistles.
I sometimes find myself spending too much time with these things rather than photography (this forum doesn't help)
I have gotten better recently though, I have stopped swapping bodies generally speaking. i have no plans to upgrade my A7RII unless I come across a really good deal on A7RIII which is unlikely. I still swap lenses regularly though that is purely because I can't afford to keep many lenses and things I shoot changes.
You weren’t a Gestapo officer in a previous life, were you?![]()
I am more a lens person than a body person, I get excited more by a fast prime than 30fps.
Eye-focus AF is the first piece of technology that really got me interested enough to try something else.
Warranty now extended until August 2021![]()
they will be but I imagine for his use case he'd want it to be 'native-like' rather than 'adapted-like' performance
edit: just as I thought, read Raymond's reply below![]()
Yeah I’ve had the 602s too. 685s are definitely nicer, for really not much extra cash, if you were ever considering.
Mine have equally been through several amps - currently running through a Beresford 2ch switching unit, so I’m able to use the same speakers to run my 7.1 Sony AV amp and at the same time, switch to my Arcam Stereo amp running the Pro-ject turntable. Works a treat, if that’s something that would be of use to you!![]()

Arent you home yet, charging your babyBut what he implied was that the other mounts won't have those functions. Not that they may be slower.

Unbelievable.
I know!! Been waiting for this day since March 9! Such BS.
At least I got it on charge now. Might be able to use it at 9.
Inbody charging?
It'll take hours.
It seems they ship in their own outer box from Sony.... so retailer doesn't have to second skin it. Manufacture date is Mar 2018, oldest date Ive seen is Dec 18.
Cool, have you got a DeLorean?![]()

yes its because Raymond's generator is a bit old nowMy A7III was at 0%, charged to 100% within 2hrs (Not sure how much quicker - I only checked 2hrs later).
No complaints here.

Have you had a Sony yet Trev?Yay. My second Sony camera, A7mk2 arrived complete with nifty fifty.
My first was a DSC F717 (2002)
I bought my XT20 from thereMy local camera store - Harrison’s.![]()
I'm surprised they had one to buy or was it a demo?
What case is that?My Leather grip arrived today.
Aluminium base with a built in Arca Swiss compatible plate. Enough space for my fingers to go between the lens, even a 50/1.4, battery door opens, enough height for my pinky. Tile screen opens easily. The only downside is access to the micro USB and USB-C flap is a little restricted. I can get to the USB-C but not the micro USB. Not a problem as I can still charge via USB-C anyway. Not a design flaw as it was designed for the A9, not A7III, it just happens to fit.
Job done, pinky problem solved.
