yes its fine for motosport. i took mine to shoot the abu dhabi f1 last yearProbably aimed more at A9/A7riii owners but, do you think the A7riii AF would be up to motorsport shooting? Thinking things like BTCC, GT's - appreciate would likely need to be a native lens (100-400 or 70-200)

Couldn’t believe the Barca result, I’m hoping we draw Roma in the semis. Or maybe Seville can shock Bayern and we can draw them insteadforget camera's what a night of results in football!

I think its a little soft in the corners. They should update the lens on the next instalment![]()

@chrism_scotland why are you buying an a7rii when you have a xh1 and a7r3?
Because I don’t have an XH1, after trying it briefly I’ve decided its not for me and its gone back - not ruling out another XT2/XP2 at some point but presently while I think the XH1 is a great camera its just not quite there for me as a main camera.
Looking at an A7rii as a backup, possibly for a prime setup instead of my usual 24-70, and given I tend to prefer MF primes, the AF of the A7riii is overkill (so I don’t need another A7r3)

They look great, did you do much post-processing?![]()
A7iii stock seems to be a big issue after all. Amazon gone from shipping 11 April to delayed 1-2 months. So some dealers are definitely getting preference.
So, is the A7II still a good buy ?
Seen them used a good prices.
Fancy a full frame walkabout. Street and some Architecture. Are the jpeg any good. Probably use 35mm prime. Maybe 24-70 f4
I don’t have any Sony gear yet.

It a very nice camera. For city scape landscape nothing that needs quick AF it brill
Don’t think any my local had any yet. When yours suppose to arrive.
Thanks Andrew. What are the colours like. Jpeg any good ?
