what was woofy? Cringer?
Lol, I forgot about the penguin@snerkler speaking of old avatars, you used to be a penguin ha ha, remember those days. Damn were becoming ancient. Nuzik used to be Doody, wonder how Jim is.
Nuzik still is "thedude" on AVF but I think he goes on there about once a year now While I'm here...
That Tokina 20mm f2 looks interesting. I keep remembering the Siggy 20mm f1.8 I used to have, that lens was ok in the central area at f1.8 and excellent across the frame stopped down and I miss it and I'd expect the Tokina to be better and to beat it at wider apertures. Having an old manual 17mm has made me want wiiiiiiiiiiide and 20mm might not quite do it for drama but may be more useful for the less dramatic.
The Sigma was AF and there's no aperture ring so it'd have to be one of the new all singing adapters plus I don't think they make the 20mm anymore so it'd have to be a used one but I think I'd rather get a native one and not have to faff on with adapters. I don't mind adapters with the old manual lenses but using them for more modern lenses doesn't hold the same appeal and charm for me. That Sigma was cheap though compared to the new Tokina. Why not get another Sigma and a dumb adapter?

About to order a 24-70GM?
Panamoz and Jessops seem to have the best prices, nearly £200 difference between them though.
Any better prices out there that I might have missed?
What to do? That is the question![]()
Get yourself across to Amazon.es today and you can get the 24-70 for £1543. Great deal, that.
