Leica SL lens updates are bundled in the camera firmware, done by SD card, and updates the lens when you attach it for the first time. - Different to the Sony

But most updates are Similar come on... Either connect the camera or Download to the Memory card which was the nikon way..

I agree, relax @rookies , its not like you can buy it as JJ has bought it.... doubt they will have two second lenses of the same condition at the same price... I am sure JJ would have shared it.....

Just wanted to see what used priced was like elsewhere compare to what I seen it for £1750

£1750 seems like a good price, any warranty?
Harrison's had one around £2000ish.

As it is raining and I did not feel like going out I just went through all my lenses and my A7RII. I updated the camera and the 70-200 GM. All the rest were up to date. It was just as you described and pretty easy.

Sony lens updates are through the camera. Samyang lens for Sony cameras though require a Samyang lens station connected to a laptop...

Then leave it..... my logic when I bought back into Sony was purely for wedding / event work so fast glass was my preferred route. However the FE 70-200mm f4 G is a smashing lens, you can't fault it considering the price difference.
I would say its as sharp or very close to the G Master sharpness.
