Knowing the gear is definitely one, cost is another, and I know my Nikons like the back of my hand. I may run a Sony alongside them for a bit of time. Saying that I use Aperture Priority and AUTO ISO 99% of the time, so I'd only need to know where the EXP comp dial is :LOL:

I guess for me I don’t need to change system, I literally treat the Sony like a Canon body as it works fine with the lenses. I do plan to get 1 Sony lens in case I forget the adaptor (still have my Canon) or if the Adaptor breaks. The Sony will not be wasted.

That's true, I'll have to totally invest in Sony body & lenses.

Yes I have decided to keep it and put the extra toward a 100-400 lens

Have you got the Canon 100-400mm L IS II? I would like to see what AF speed is like on the A7riii as it’s a cheaper alternative to the Sony 100-400mm.

Ha ha well I reckon Toby is in 2 minds.. I honestly think if the D850 had 2 SD slots he going that route and I wouldn't blame him.. My mate just got it and WOW didn't realise what a camera it was

As long as you get your money back or near enough.

If you can use someone else's lenses that's even better. Be cool if my friends actually used high end gear!

TBH I will prob get a extra £100 back as I got a good deal on my stuff
