I was looking through the D500 thread last night, very impressive camera.
pretty special eh. a proper legend
Pair it with the Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8, job done!Yeah, its the only DX camera that Ive thought hmmmm.... that looks bloody good.
So this is the issue with Sonys early colour science, note the improvement.... its mostly noticeable in low light and especially with AWB. Their skin tones sucked but way better now. Its not always easy to correct for it as you change the hue/tones in the rest of the image, takes time to fix when masking.

I think on the whole the D750 is more accurate, Canon like to go for that warm fuzzy feelingCanon is still the best... I agree my A7RII is better than A7 but that's hardly a glorifying praise.
May be I should just buy a canon and glue 85mm/1.2 on to it and be happy...
I believe that Sony's colour science is now on par with Canon from bodies released and including the Sony A9 onwards.Thos A7 ones are horrendous

Yes, I think the Sony A7R III colour science is like the Sony A9's.A7RIII is same as A9?
If they have fixed their colour science that's almost a good enough reason for me to upgrade.

Yup D750 has the edge for me....

yes pretty spot on thereThe XT2 has dealt with the colour well, but the gums aren't quite right imo, Id give the edge to D750 top row, 5div bottom row.

Not really compact but badass IQ. Check out Dan cooks work with it. Seriously nice IQ. Want one.
Compact v a DSLR but your right. It's amazing, I think I might keep it. Might be time for me to move to a twt camera setup.
