Of course you'll get sharp pictures at 65mp... if your prints and viewing remain the same
As I may have said once or twice before, I think it's worth starting at the end and working back to work out what kit and settings you need to get the end result you're happy with. If you "only" want to print whole images up to A3 and view normally then maybe almost anything will do, more so if all you do is view whole images on screen. It's only when doing things that push what the kit and user are capable of that any problems which very high mp counts may reveal will be visible. Take your 100mp pictures and view them normally and any slight issues which might be revealed by viewing massive pictures closely will very probably be invisible.
