Hmm whilst I don't have much in the way of interesting images, you [as the thread owner to boot] seem to have changed your tune in regard to my supporting someone who asked if we could post more images to the thread even gave us the lecture that there are a gazillion threads for that and that as it is a gear thread you were not in favour. Now you want images ???

Is this what you're referring to?

And just to save you clicking the link I'll copy and paste what I wrote...

"About pictures. v words.

This section of the forum is about gear and isn't necessarily a place to post pretty pictures.

The pictures I've posted in here have often been to show what the gear can do (or as it's me... what it can't do with me pressing the buttons and how I can f*** it up big style...) but I also post pretty not really showing off the gear pictures too :D

I like pictures :D but I can't really complain if people just want to talk as this is the gear section and there are about a million threads on this forum to post pictures (landscape, portrait etc... there are hundreds of them...) if people don't want to post them here :D

Anyway..."

I then go on to post a picture. Of my intended as it happens.

Thinking about why I posted, as far as I can remember people were talking about the number or lack of pictures and I just commented. That's all. I'm not Big Brother. I don't own the thread, I just created it. Anyone and everyone on this forum has the same level of ownership. I can't ban, edit content, report or do anything else beyond what others can do other than the title and I've only changed that for a bit of fun.

It's not my thread.

I don't remember lecturing you or anyone else or if I appeared to in this or other instances it was a joke as I have a sense of humor and I use it in this thread/on this site. Sometimes it isn't picked up on and people don't get "it" or me and in those cases I usually explain but in this instance I simply can't think why you seem to have got a bee in your bonnet over this.

Reading my own post back it's pretty clear to me that I posted how I feel. I think my post is pretty clear. I like pictures but I can't complain if people don't post many/any as this is a gear thread. And to repeat, I like pictures and if you go back to page 1 I've probably posted as many pictures in here as anyone. A lot of my pictures have been gear related... as in look what this old Minolta lens is capable of... but I think it's pretty clear that I've also posted a lot of pictures just for the joy of it.

A7 with Minolta 35mm f1.8.

Looking out at me looking in at you.

Soz if I've rubbed you up the wrong way Jamie but maybe you've just misunderstood what I posted.

I have no problem what so ever with people posting pictures and in fact I quite like looking at them even when they're better than mine :(

:D

Yea stop posting pics ;)

This was one of the first pictures I took with my Sony 35mm f2.8.

I'm reposting it because it was cruelly and heartlessly deleted by the nasty people at Photobucket.

Whole picture and then 100% crop.

Have you lot seen the A6000+35mm f1.8 in the classifieds... for £500?!?!

That's a very good price and I almost said I'll take it at asking but I have two comparable MFT cameras and a bag full of lenses so there's really little point me getting it. I've always fancied one of these though.

This looks like a very good bargain and I shouldn't think it'll remain unsold for long... so someone really should buy it and stop me being tempted!

In low light it's never going to perform like a native lens. Outside it is excellent. For the price it is excellent.

Didn't Jonney say it's the same as native? Looks very slow. In good light it looks alright but still not what I would call fast.

With the adapter it's still £800 in terms of Sony it's cheap I guess.

My copy is fine in low light. Doesn't hunt like that. Shoot in af c bro.

I'll see if I can do another video test on the sigma in low light

Had mine on continuous af and it was fast. I was very impressed. Pretty good indoors but I don't shoot in very low light if I can help it anyway. Just let me down on the one occasion.

As long as I can use the 35 ART on whatever camera with good af I'll be happy.
