You must do a lot of runningI seen somewhere online that the Adobe photography plan might go on offer on cyber Monday instead guess we will wait and see, also bought another pair of Adidas trainers that's 4 pairs today. Need to stop![]()
Can anyone explain the difference between the Real Time Tracking vs the A7iii?
Ive watched so many videos a lot are old and are on older firmware or don’t show side by side difference.
Typically what AF Area modes do people use?
Trying to get my head around the AF system whilst deciding what to do.

New Sony A7 III chap.... you'll get newer AF, Eye-AF and Animal Eye-AF..... IBIS etc. You'll get many years of use out of it too. Thanks guys. That's a good price but I think the 50mm would need to be sold if I'm not happy with the focus and I do have the excellent 55mm.
I'll give it some thought, repair v new A7 v A7III, over the next few days. Mrs WW birthday today and it's stopped raining and there's a blue sky!!! So we're going out for the day and a nice Thai meal![]()
I am sure they will update is soon to add the latest Camera RAW profiles.Read somewhere LR doesn’t support a9ii yet need to convert
apparently end of Jan...I am sure they will update is soon to add the latest Camera RAW profiles.![]()
Cool.... since you have a A9, it's no worry for youapparently end of Jan...

Sorry I'm still confused by this, are you saying that real time only tracks the subject and not the eye(s)/face, but with the A7iii it does track the eye(s)/face?With real time you can use wide and just half press the shutter button and the focus point will follow the subject across the frame.
With the A7III when you half press it will only activate eye a.f or face detect if it can't find the eye.
Cant get very far today and it a damn lovely weather to be out to take some different snaps rather than down the road after dropping daughter off at school but i will post them up just to show I am still using the camera LOL and still learning.. BUT I tried a AF-C in L speed it still bloody fast and strange cant believe amount of images it took. But those images not being posted as they was just testing...

I think I asked this before but my memory's shocking, with Sony can you have eye AF set in all modes (wide, single point, auto etc) therefore if you are in single point you can help press the AF point over the person's face you want to track and it will start tracking the eyes of that person? That would be really useful in crowds rather than leaving up to the camera which face to track.
says who? thats an awful long time for an update!apparently end of Jan...
Amazing ain't it... like some kind of Jedi voodoo magic
Adobe support said i to someone on FB groupsays who? thats an awful long time for an update!
