Really ? I didn't know that.
You'd think after a while that they'd realise it doesn't work. Well,...Lol..if they win then it works..if they lose..maybe God was busy and not paying attention or he wasn't in....![]()
Plenty of examples in athletics.

Agreed, while a draw was good for us, Chelsea should have had that wrapped up, but the fouls were pretty obvious to see.well more shocking was the standard of refereeing. Taylor was the mom for spurs with his 2 assists! Romero should have been off for his antics. Hard to blame tuchel when your team has been robbed like that.

Traori seems a good idea, and he can be exciting to watch, but his actual impact with regards to goals and assists is very poor. I think there are reasons he's normally an impact sub, rather than a consistent starter, and even then, he still doesn't play much.Another win by Spurs earlier..just. Wolves deserved a point. Poor first half by Spurs. I got a bit worried watching Jiménez and Traori after they were brought off the bench..especially Traori. He had three Spurs players around him as he neared the Spurs goal out on the right wing .Spurs offered £15m for him at the start of the year ( Jan)but he went to Barca on loan until the end of June. Barca didn't action the option to buy him (£30m euros) . Wolves want £25m. The last offer from Spurs was £20m after that £15m bid was rejected and that's the last offer so far but Spurs are still interested and the window doesn't close until 2300 on September 1st. He'd be a great addition to the squad.
As a Wolves supporter Traori has been good for us but his end product is pretty poor - certainly not good enough for top teams.Traori seems a good idea, and he can be exciting to watch, but his actual impact with regards to goals and assists is very poor. It is a pity, as he can be exciting to watch, and can go past people like they are not there. Every so often.![]()

Yup, here, he certainly has changed things around. Mentally we look better and the new players are awesome! Time will tell but looking good at momentAs a Wolves supporter Traori has been good for us but his end product is pretty poor - certainly not good enough for top teams.
He is like a whippet though
Different subject but impressed with Arsenal this season, maybe not genuine Prem league champions material but definitely on the right road to solid top 4.
Where are all those Arteta haters shouting for his head now?!
Heads-up.
Manchester United v Liverpool. Kick off at 8.00pm Sky Sports (Main event) or for the poor, like me..talkSport![]()
Fingers crossed, but we'll see.I think it will be a very close game tonight, 6-1 to Liverpool lol
Very well done to Rashford well chuffed for him tonight, and well done Ten Hag to drop the two has beens now get rid of them both plus Fred.
He's well respected. Another interesting season ahead,I'm sure.Brighton will get 4th spot, as the manager is doing a great job for us.
I think Newcastle might be in the mix too, good manager, passionate fans and cash available if required..They played with determination.A good team effort. One of the commentating team said that Ten Hag made them run 13km extra in training after the 4-0 defeat by Brentford. If I heard correctly, whoever it was,Jonathan Pierce,Danny Murphy or Stewart Pearce, said stats showed they'd run 13km less than Brentford...lol. Liverpool didn't really get going.
Goodness me. I've just looked at the table. Arsenal top with 9 pts, Manchester United 14th with three points and two places below them Liverpool with 2 points from three games. Two draws and tonight's loss. Maybe I ought to revise my prediction which I posted that had them second at the season's end.. I think Manchester City,Arsenal and Spurs will take the top three places. No idea now who will get fourth spot. Having said that it's a bit early to be predicting but I'm sure Manchester City will be in the top three and Arsenal are going great guns and will continue to do so imo and Spurs under Conte and with 9 days left of the window plus the January window to go should be there, too.

Relegation who knows at this stage, possibly Bournemouth, Leicester and Moyes looks like he has run out of ideas at West Ham.
Yes.. a shaky start for West Ham.
I listened to that game..we don't have Sky but BT Sport . Gerrard does seem to be struggling but a pundit said he needs time to settle in and get the team in his own image,,so to speak.Eight months obviously isn't enough time. I see Mings is still there with a few days of the transfer window open so I assumne he's staying..for this season, at least. I mentioned in a post a few back that there seemed to be friction there. He's no longer the captain .They had just the tonic they needed today - a trip to Villa Park, the place where winless runs go to die. As a Villa supporter, I think Gerrard's days and numbered already...
This Leicester city supporter is extremely disillusioned with football.
In august 21 in a friendly match Wesley Forfana suffered a fractured fibula & ankle + knee ligament damage. He spent the entire 21 season out. Leicester gave him the best of everything to aid his recovery. Earlier this year he signed a new 5 year contract and went public with his love for the club after their support through his recovery.
Now it appears he is going to Chelsea ? How many f***ing players do Chelsea need. ?
The Foxes have attempted to retain him and turned down increasingly larger bids.
Then Forfana decides he wants Chelsea’s £200,000 a week, throws a ‘strop’ and stops turning up for training. This appears to be doing the club no favours and they are seemingly forced to let him. go.
The quicker the top 6 clubs own all the top players, remove most of the competition
from all other clubs, everyone loses interest and we can all watch womens football the better. Bring it on, I cannot wait.
Forest bet the farm on promotion and only just scraped through. If they go down, the consequences of FFP could be catastrophic! Not sure what's going on at Leicester, have the owners stopped investment.
I saw Vardy was given a new long contract, looks a bit much at his age and definitely not as sharp now.
Also what's happened to Thielemans, saw him a year or so ago and looked very good.
Does he want away or just lost form?
My tip as I said above for relegation along with Bournemouth, maybe Forest to fill the other spot?
Not the first team to go all in and fail.Forest bet the farm on promotion and only just scraped through. If they go down, the consequences of FFP could be catastrophic!

Yeah, we're still paying for it. $40m fine and relying on freebies and loans to keep going. Not the first team to go all in and fail.
Can be a big mistake to try and buy your way to staying up.
Big money contracts that still need paying after relegation
Still you can always go into Administration, rob all your creditors including small local businesses then come back with funds replenished.
I hope not, Charlie looks like a very good prospect, certainly knows how to finish.Oh, and can we have Charlie Kelman back please.![]()
Which is why we want him back. That said, we've have plenty of strikers who have ripped it up in league 1/2 but not managed it in the Championship so who knows.I hope not, Charlie looks like a very good prospect, certainly knows how to finish
Think you had one of our ex strikers for a while, Macauley Bonne?Which is why we want him back. That said, we've have plenty of strikers who have ripped it up in league 1/2 but not managed it in the Championship so who knows.
still got him. Didn't exactly hit the heights and was loaned to Ipswich last season. Publicly declared he wanted to stay there permanently but they haven't come a knocking yet. Scored a few times for us in pre-season, but currently warming the bench.Think you had one of our ex strikers for a while, Macauley Bonne?
You would hope they get any player the best treatment. This Leicester city supporter is extremely disillusioned with football.

Contracts are not only to try and keep players for a length of time, but to also enhance their value should anyone want to buy them.No player should refuse to train or play whilst they are under contract, and heavy fines should follow imho. I'd be wary of buying any player that did that, because he can obviously do it again. Now it appears he is going to Chelsea ? How many f***ing players do Chelsea need. ?

Not sure TV companies or subscribers would pay much to screen or watch the also rans league.Resurrect the European super league. Let the ‘top six’ b****r off and play each other plus the other state funded teams and teams that are exempt from FFP until they are sick of the sight of each other.
Let the rest of the Premier league have a ‘proper‘ competitive league among themselves.
Well, I can dream can’t I.
