Hi
I have been in discussions with a model about a time for photo's studio session. This means I pay for the studio and she gives up her time in exchange for a copy of the photo's, this is a good way for me to get more practice at a reduced rate.
When we were discussing it, I mentioned that if she cancels she would be liable for the cancellation fee's. Which has now turned out to be £25 if more than 24 hours notice was given, or £100 if less than 24 hours notice was given.
Today i checked avaliability at the studio and dropped her a mail saying we can go ahead, and her response was that she wasn't keen anymore, because she has never heard of having to pay cancellation fee's before. The problem I have is, if someone offers her a paid shoot she would probably accept and therefore I would be left with an empty studio. So I don;t want to be out of pocket. Do you think I was wrong?
Well thats my rant over with.
