Don't go hogging her all night will you... share!![]()
how the hell can you seriously expect me to watch Jeremy Kyle, come on![]()
Nite allNite nite![]()
Let me spell it out for you then as you seem to be having learning difficulties. There are far worse things in life that a lot of kids of that age have to live with, than being told Fairies and Santa don`t exist. A real shame you cannot see that though. Have you taken over where Scrivens left off by any chance?
Ahh the infamous ScrivensYou really don't know me do you, number 1, I won't even lower myself to watch that crap what you posted, let's face it Jeremy Kyle is a joke, number 2, I remind my kids every week if not day how lucky they are, number 3, I give as much as I can to children's charity's as do my children, this has nothing to do with anything other than the op's question so don't start preaching to me about what you think is right, and 4, who is scrivens

should a Christian child be told "there is no God"? in a school?
Unless it's a religious school - I completely agree! No. And they shouldn't be told there is either.
Steve.

Welcome words of moderation. Lets all move along nothing to see herA wondrous magical childhood is a glorious thing, but its a serious dilemma because lies prepare your child for nothing don't they.
Teachers probably done you a favour in the long run, in the meantime your kid is pondering if you have egg on your face.
I'd say, upset as you are, take a deep breath, these things happen, worse things at sea etcetera and forget about it.
Just had an image of Brash in a tutu and wand wearing his DM'sim sitting here reading all the post and im splitting my sides you guys crack me up some times lol i would have been over the moon if thats all i had to moan about when my kids grew up its harsh times we live in and it is not getting any better god they still had work houses up till the 60s i think were young kids worked if it gets to you that much dig out the tutu and the wand and go in the class and give all the kids a £1 lol

Great post Dave, thanks for sharing that with us. Continues in the same vein of argument that Rich was making about the real problems that kids have to face today.OK. Let's put this into perspective, I know it would be lovely if kids could be kids for longer but unfortunately they grow up a lot quicker than we want. Taking a similar line to hooch 1. If this is all you have to worry about with your kids growing up you are bloody lucky, at the age of 12 my eldest daughter was diagnosed with bulimia which she had a very hard battle with until this year, then at 13 self harm reared it's ugly head which she is still fighting with, these are both just symptoms of the depression and extreme low mood disorder that has been diagnosed, this last year has been unbelievable hard for us as parents one doctor trying to get her sectioned because she didn't listen to what was being said, an overdose and who is the person outside the immediate family who has helped us the most (outside the medical profession) yap you have guessed it, one of her teachers. Went that step a little further told her a few home truths which we had said as well, sorted some of the issues at school, and was like a sarogate mother to her while she was at school. She came and sat with my daughter for a day while she was in hospital just to cheer her up give my wife and I done moral support without this one teacher I do not know where our of my daughter would be here today. So stop and think a little before going hell for leather at the teacher, she may be doing something extremely helpful for another child without you out anyone else knowing.
There are some bloody great teachers out there, please stop putting them down as soon as they do something you may not agree with, the job is hard enough without it.

Just an ex member that annoyed the greenies too once to often so the dragged him out of his VW Up, blind folded him with toilet roll and then sacrificed him to the great and almighty Jaffa....what upset him the most was he was 9.5 minutes into his start up 10
