I had made my free transfer earlier, forgot about the deadline but that's good, or I might have been tempted to make more :D I do have 3.2m in tha bank

Same here. The next few gws are going to be pretty tough to negotiate for Chambolica Charente. I fear that this will be the new normal. The best teams, that is where we get most of our players from, are being hammered with extra European and international fixtures that are causing abnormally high levels of injuries.

I can see it becoming better to have more players from clubs outside the top 6 that aren't being as affected and rotating them to maximise the better fixtures.
 
:DAll season I’ve done bad transfers and bad captain choices - that’s my main problem

things are becoming harder to make a difference though. We’ve lost the biggest double game week of the season due to fixture changes for FA cup quarterfinal week, and early lineup leaks seem to be a thing of the past. Then the average player ability has gone up. So all in all it’s harder to do well in the rankings.

Yes, I agree. There was a situation where Liverpool & Everton were handed a dgw too late for any planning to be made. Same with the current dgw33 changes. Its as if the Premier League don't care about FPL.
 
I got hammered in the H2H but somehow manage to still ne 6pts ahead ... I mean, even Average were beating me this round!
 
Fiendishly Bad!!!(52) extend their lead at the top to 6 points from Chambolica Charente(47).

Amber Army(60) move up into 3rd, 22 points behind Chambolica Charente, and now 1 point ahead of Banished to Riyadh(53).

Klopp-Slot Boom!(48) stay in 3rd, 18 points behind.

Highest scorer of the week was Mrs Smith's Boys with 62. :clap:

The average point score for the week was 44.

In the Head2Head league, leader New Oak Utd lost against Amber Army 40-60, and their lead is reduced to 6 points. That is because last week's 2nd placed team Chambolica Charente lost to Mrs Smith's Boys 47-62, and are replaced by Klopp-Slot Boom!, who beat Penfold's Dangermice 48-39. They are now 1 point ahead of Chambolica Charente.

Banished to Riyadh beat Warrington Town 53-34, and move up to 4th place, on equal points, but ahead of Woody's wonders, who lost against Fiendishly Bad!!! 42-52. Fiendishly Bad!!! are now just 1 point behind Woody's wonders in 5th.

Biggin Bangers beat AVERAGE 53-44. :clap:

Next to take on AVERAGE are Chambolica Charente. ӑнӑçу сунатӑп. ;)

We have a change at the top of the league, :oops: :$ as Chambolica Charente(62) move up to top spot, and Banished to Riyadh(69) move up into 2nd, 16 points behind.

Fiendishly Bad!!!(42) drop to 3rd, 2 points behind Banished to Riyadh.

Klopp-Slot Boom(53) move up to 4th, and Amber Army(20) drop to 5th.

Banished to Riyadh were highest scorer of the week with 69 points.

Average point score for the week was 34.

European games this week, so the deadline for making changes is Sat 12th Apr @11:00.

In the Head2Head league, leader New Oak Utd won their match up with Tarric Terrors 37-32, and stay 6 points ahead of Klopp-Slot Boom! who also won, against Warrington Town, 53-48.

Chambolica Charente are 3rd, still 1 point behind, after beating AVERAGE :clap: 62-34.

Banished to Riyadh beat Woody's wonders 69-32, and are still 2 points behind Chambolica Charente.

Fiendishly Bad!!! won against Penfold's Dangermice 38-27, and move up to 5th after Woody's wonder's loss.

Leader New Oak Utd are next to take on AVERAGE. jëk ni mi gɔa̱ ;)

Banished to Riyadh have the chance to go ahead of Klopp-Slot Boom! as they go H2H, and potentially going 2nd, depending on Chambolica Charentes result against Asteriskter Citeh*.

Average are giving me a solid run!! last I checked it was 16 - 16, today 1t's 40 - 40 , I do have 6 players in tonight's game so hopefull can pull ahead. But then, most 'average' players probably have too ...

Fiendishly Bad!!!(66) remain 3rd, 5 points behind 2nd place. Klopp-Slot Boom!(69) are still 4th, and Amber Army(61) are still in 5th.

The average point score for the week was 56.

The deadline for making changes is Sat 19th Apr @13:30.

It is all nice and close at the top of the league, which is nice to see. I think it is between one of three at the top.

Fiendishly Bad!!!'s win against Biggin Bangers 66-48, keeps the in 5th, but on equal points with Chambolica Charente.

Well I think my time at the top will be over..... On Saturday I'm heading off for 3 weeks in a much warmer climate so I might easily forget about deadlines......

As it stands I'm 115 points short of beating my best ever score and with 6 game weeks to go I think I'll beat it.....

The top three are covered by 11 points. I hope you can make up 29+ points to at least 3rd, or even higher. :) It has been good to have the top spot changing over the last few weeks, as usually someone has been far and away from the rest at this point.

There is a double gameweek for some teams this week, and people will start to use up any of the game chips they may not have used yet, so the potential for some big gameweek points are there. ;)

As long as it’s me, I don’t mind someone having a massive lead!:D

As always I have a plan, but I’m sure others do too…
 
I think that Keith's rotation plan of resting his good players for the league and saving them for the cup ties is a masterstroke. I just wish that I knew how he has done it.
 
I think Keith should win the H2H as he has a 9 point lead and the special ability to pick a side to win the cup games
The league is a lot closer and could go any way. Happy to be in the mix after a dodgy first half of the season
 
The H2H doesn't require any real cosistency, just know you opp, try better them that round [so yeah, there's some tact]- I gave up on the league long ago, so I don't mind making sacrifices any given round, or taking pts hit if I think it'll get the job done. It's week by week ... it'll be much harder to do very well in both

Don't you worry about your team while you are away. I'm sure that they'll do just fine without any changes. ;)

What a strange week! My captain was the lowest scorer and my highest scorer only came off the bench because somebody I had just transferred in got no minutes in two games. I've gone to the top of the league but lost a place in the h2h :rolleyes:

I won't be booking the open top bus just yet. There are still soms twists and turns to come :headbang:
 
Another change at the top of the league, as Chambolica Charente(80) go top by 6 points from Banished to Riyadh(68).

Fiendishly Bad!!!(57) drop to 22 pints behind 2nd place. Klopp-Slot Boom!(70) are still 4th, 16 points behind Fiendishly Bad!!!.

Amber Army remain in 5th, 28 points behind.

The average point score for the week was 56.

Highest scorer of the week was Warrington Town with 90 points. :clap:

There are FA Cup Semi Finals this weekend, and with all four teams premier league teams, the fantasy football league will be affected.

The deadline for making changes is Sat 26th Apr @11:00.

In the Head2Head league, leader New Oak Utd lost their match up with horspath hounds 57-84. The stay 9 points ahead of Banished to Riyadh, as they lost to me :D 68-88.

3rd placed Klopp-Slot Boom! lost their H2H with 70-82, and stay on the same points as Banished to Riyadh. They are joined on 58 points by Woody's wonders, who beat AVERAGE 61-56, :clap: and move up to 4th.

Chambolica Charente lost to Warrington Town 80-90, are still on 57 points, but drop a position. Also on 67 points, and also dropping a place, are Fiendishly Bad!!!, after losing against Amber Army 57-64.

With 1 point between them, Woody's wonders and Chambolica Charente go H2H, so 4th and 5th position could change. ;)

Next to take on AVERAGE are Penfold's Dangermice. Moga beruntung. ;)

We have another change at the top as Banished to Riyadh take possibly a decisive score for the week, (104, highest score of the week :clap: ) and go 44 points ahead of Chambolica Charente.

Klopp-Slot Boom!(74) move up to 3rd, 24 points behind Chambolica Charente, and 6 points ahead of Fiendishly Bad!!!(56). Amber Army)42) stay 5th.

The average point score for the week was 47.

There is a very quick turn around to the next gameweek, which starts today, so the deadline for making changes is Fri 2nd May @18:30.

Klopp-Slot Boom! are still 3rd, on the same points as Banished to Riyadh, after winning against me, :( 74-73. 4th placed Woody's wonders are also on the same points after winning the H2H against Chambolica Charente 65-54. That loss by Chambolica Charente sees them fall 4 points behind Woody's wonders, but stay in 5th, still on equal points with Fiendishly Bad!!! who also lost against Tarric Terrors 52-53.

We had a rare draw with horspath hounds and Biggin Bangers 41-41. There were a lot of close H2H's this week though.

There were no positional changes this week, with everyone staying in the same place as last week.

Penfold's Dangermice beat AVERAGE 49-47. :clap:

Next to take on AVERAGE is horspath hounds. Pōmaikaʻi iā ʻoe. ;)
