Liverpool keeping a clean sheet was a pleasant change, with both full backs giving me more points than they have for over a month in one game. :oops: :$ :rolleyes: :LOL: Lots of points from Martinez for Villa. :) Atm moment I consider Fernandes, Kane and Son for Captain, with the odds more on the first two being chosen. Son would have been the one to choose so far, but I am happy I chose Kane, as he is more likely to do something in the 2nd game too. Fingers crossed.

I agree, Kane was the standout choice this week. Perhaps KDB could have rivalled him for those that have him, but the worry of him not playing a full game (in hindsight, seemingly unfounded) would have put me off.
 
A lot of people predicting the City line up are omitting Gundawg, not sure why, no sign of any injury. On the other hand most have Sterling starting, here's hoping, that suits better as less have him, also Cancello seems favored to start [mix of team news searches and the FF league twitch page]

Pep is in full rotate mode, expect 4 or more changes from the weekend game, Gundog is due a break and is likely to drop out, Foden probably starts as does Bernado and Rodri. Maybe Laporte replaces John Stones and Cancelo for Walker
 
Over their 4 games I guess they have to rotate a lot, and those guys will likely be back in V United - I'll chance keeping the 3 City players I have for now though as there's others I want to boot, when they do well they have the potential to score more per game than many others over 2

Gun has started, as have my other 2 Sterling and Cancelo, just need them all to do something, not asking for much like, a goal each, clean sheet top bonus points, y'know that sort of simple thing :ROFLMAO:

Weird, the FF site have him on 2 points. He has more than Sterling or Cancello atm :ROFLMAO: but yeah, when you click him he hasn't played any minutes, odd

If you were told though, they would win 4-1 before kick off and you had 3 playing, you'd imagine you were in for a juicy haul .... I got the whole rest of the team to go again at least
 
That was a very uninspiring evening of football - I have my Everton pair left to try hold place and win my H2H [we're even score right now but I owe 4pts]

Indeed, I thought I'd done poorly, but actually improved my overall ranking in the game slightly, so seemingly not as bad as some. It has however been a good week for me otherwise with a big rank jump.
The cherry on top tonight would be a good showing from Kane (capt) and Son. But an Everton 0-0 and Chelsea doing badly. Obviously I want a convincing Liverpool victory, but not a big score from Salah!!!!! Not asking for much then?!!!!!

Don't worry, I don't believe in jinxing it, I doubt some random nobody in 13th place of a mini league on some FF site has any bearing on how they'll perform .... or have they :thinking:

I'm in a very close H2H with Mrs Smith's Boys. I think it was 81 - 80 for me before kick off tonight. They have four points to come off for transfers, so 81 - 76, but are playing their Bench Boost, and have Son, C-L, Lookman, Robertson, and Salah able to get points tonight. Thankfully none of them are their Captain. :)

I also have Son and Robertson. And I have Kane as Captain and Alexander-Arnold too. Atm, just after half time in the first games, it is 84 - 78 to me adjusted for transfers. A high scoring Liverpool v Chelski game with Salah getting a few could turn the result around. :oops: :$ As long as Liverpool came out top of a high scoring game I'll be happy to lose this H2H. ;) :D
 
I've just pulled ahead in my H2H with Horsepath Hounds, we were both on 72 when I checked earlier but I still owe 4pts so it was 72-68 in their favour. I'm at 82 now [making it 78-72 to me] but they still have Arnold for 'Pool to go. Need a little more from my Toffee boys!

Ah too bad, didn't realise that the Everton game was on so early, wrong striker got the goal [had DCL as Cap] , not looking so good for me so. I have to hope for a Chelsea win and Arnold to pretty much do nowt, or at the very least he doesn't get more than 6pts - I'll take a draw :D

I'm done too, no runners in the Liv Chelsea game.
A good week of 105 points, lifting me to just outside the top 30k in the rankings as it currently stands, but whatever happens in the last game that will drop. Hopefully not too far. I guess Salah has the potential to hurt me most, but I'm ok with that :love:

That's a nice haul! don't think I've had a week with that many points in e a few year, think my highest was like 95 though was a single match week. I expected more this week, 82 is not great for a full on double week

Yeh I'm not grumbling at 105, but a double game week for all 11 players plus a bench boost its not that good. I hope to average 60 points per week, so 105 is below par!

I wouldn't expect actual double the norm in weeks like this, as we've seen, there will be players rested or just won't perform over 2 games. I think it's a bit of a false hope. Might actually do better week 29 with careful planning :D

Also, wtf happened in the Liv-Che game?? showed me 0-1 to Chelsea a bit ago now it's 0-0? I have no way to view most of these matches. It had Werner as scorer, I take it VAR stepped in? That's gonna cost me the H2H, as Arnold has some bonus points [edit, edit] and Chelsea have scored, again, but it's Mount this time so I can only assume the first one was off side but the FF site had it down, so maybe some controversy?

There is a new leader at the top of the TP Fantasy Football League, as Klopp Klopp Boom had a very good week with 105 points, to make a 15 point deficit to last weeks leaders, Amber Army (86), into a 4 point lead. Farcealona (93) remain in 3rd.

Hardly Athletic (82) swap places with Penfold's Dangermice (65) to move into 4th place and 5th respectively.

The average for the week was a quite high 75 points because most of the teams had two games.

Highest scorer of the week was not the leader, but Woody's wonders with 107. :oops: :$ :clap:

I had a good week, with a lot most of my players who played two games doing well in one, if not both games, and so I got 92 points. :) I stay in 12th place, but get slightly closer to Mrs Smith's Boys above. Their transfer point deduction for the doesn't seem to have been taken off, though it did it in the H2H league. ;)

No games today, but an early game tomorrow, so the deadline for changes is Sat 6th Mar @11:00.

Klopp Klopp Boom, still on top of the H2H league as they won their high scoring H2H with Farcealona 101 - 92. They have extended their lead at the top to five points as Amber Army were beaten in a close H2H, 82 - 85 with JUSTSTAYEDUP.

Biggin Bangers stay in 3rd, still two points behind, as they were unable to take advantage of the Amber Army loss, as they also lost their H2H with DTFC Snapper 58 - 64. DTFC Snapper's win moves the from 7th > 5th.

Banished to Riyadh stay in 4th, after losing to AVERAGE 70 - 75. :oops: :$

Next to take on AVERAGE are Hardly Athletic. Chúc may mắn. ;)

I had a good week, and came out ahead of Mrs Smith's Boys 92 - 86. Mrs Smith's Boys had -4 taken off for transfers, so it could have been closer still. And they were also playing their Bench Boost, so I am very happy with that result. I stay in 9th place, now on the same points as Mrs Smith's Boys, and only 6 points behind on accumulated points. :) Next up for me is the leader of both leagues, Klopp Klopp Boom. :oops: :$ :LOL:

Nice, I can't complain as I moved up in both (y) Managed to win a very tight H2H, one more transfer and I'd have lost [considering who I had fancied transfering in] but I'm learning

That is always the fear when rotating your squad. I dropped DCL to the bench now I know he'll have the game of his life Vs Burnley, I had just transfered in Lingard so wanted to start him in for a trial, didn't want to lose any of my other MF, That's where I'm strongest. I should have dropped Watkins, it was a coin flip really but I think he'll be next to get the boot.
 
3 out of 3 starters for City - there's a nice suprise!!!! But what on earth has happened to Liverpool?:(
 
Oh no, my 3rd sub (Shaw) has scored and may even get a clean sheet against city... Best laid plans and all that :thinking:
 
Not doing very well here, brought KDB in and made him captain, nice 4pts ....
