I think he might have had you either way, even without the extra goal and bonus points as Gun got bonus points too

I think I was 2nd highest for this week, even if the 4pts for transfer was knocked off, caught up and won my H2H easily enough too. I'm on a good run in that atm, had a couple losing streaks earlier on but catching up a bit

Klopp Klopp Boom's score of 90 points increased their lead at the top to 19 points ahead of Amber Army who got 75 points. Highest scorer of the week, Farcealona with 99 points :clap:, stay in 3rd place. There is a new team in 4th place, as Penfold's Dangermice scored a very high 97 points to swap places with Hardly Athletic (70).

The average point score for the week was 60 points.

I had another good week, with 77 points, and was only let down by (unsurprisingly atm :( :rolleyes:) my Liverpool full backs. I chose Gundogan as my Captain, because he had two games, compared to Kane's one game, and Kane turned out to be the one to choose, but hindsight is 20/20. I'm happy it was the right choice playing the odds. I moved up from 12th > 10th. :) Considering I was down to 21st a few times, 10th is great. :)

There is a Friday night game to start off this gameweek, and so the deadline for making changes is Fri 12th Mar @18:30.

I took on the leader of the H2H League, Klopp Klopp Boom, and surprisingly until the 2nd Cit€h game, I was in with a chance, but ended up losing 77 - 90. Klopp Klopp Boom's lead at the top remains five points ahead of Amber Army, who also won their H2H with Banished to Riyadh 75 - 54. Biggin Bangers stay in 3rd after beating horspath hounds in a not really close 83 - 41. ;)Banished to Riyadh stay 4th despite their loss, but DTFC Snapper are now only four points behind in 5th after winning their H2H with Atletico High Street 85 - 51.

Hardly Athletic took on AVERAGE, and were winners 66 - 60. :clap:

Next to take on AVERAGE are Ball Oxes. καλή τύχη. ;)

After losing my H2H with Klopp Klopp Boom I fall down a place to 10th.

Why is it we get more nervous about Average than facing anyone else? :ROFLMAO: I've been above last few weeks, just need to keep 'er lit and should be fine

I almost messed up and made transfers today thinking it was Friday! :O phew, will be watching for certain players pulling through tonight unscathed

Part 1 of my plan done, it'll be tough to even get 9 outfield for GW 29 but I may make more sacrifices

I wouldn't worry too much about 29, I think 7-8 players is enough. If you go the whole hog with 11, with the teams that are available, you'd have a poor team for the upcoming games/fixtures, for what is likely to be a low scoring week anyway ....................................................................... but i could be wrong!

I know, it just happened with the 3 Villa players, 2 from West ham and a couple straight forward swaps, one being an injury and one a wasted striker who does nothing each time I take him in ... I could have 9-10 outfield next week. I'll see how it goes. It's easier done than I thought and they'd not just be filler

I was part watching the Newcastle v Villa game, and with a few minutes to go I was on for 21 points for the three Villa players I have, goalkeeper, defender and forward, and in the 94th minute Newcastle equalised, and it is now 9 points. :oops: :$ :) :LOL:
 
well that escalated quickly! I check in on my points, 21 - NICE! ... 2 mins later I refresh and I'm down to 10! bye bye clean sheet :( right at the end of the game too

Disaster week... Bamford and Pickford both off injured for a total of 1 point!!!!

Yeah reckon a lot brought him in with next week in mind too, change of plan needed now, and I was disciplined this time! Thought I made a nice simple switch, only spent 4pts [replaced Rashford with Aubamayang] but now might have to spend a little more than I expected. Bamford is just at 75% chance though so not panicking just yet

Aw man! This is a bit of a disaster week for me too, I bet Cancelo plays and scores now as I left him on the bench :/

Dang it, Cancelo is starting ... best we can hope is that KDB comes on at some stage and does something, an assist even will do (y)

That could turn out to be significant mostly for you lot up top of the league. I mean, unless I shift up a bunch of places over the coming weeks I'm looking to just save face and finish high as poss

oooh, good point, I end up with 29pts idle on the bench atm, with 2x MF no show, will I get some of them points now? Can I have 2 defenders come from the bench to cover 2 MF? 11 wasted points on the sub keeper, can't get those as Martinez played, but if I get the points from Cancelo and Dallas, that would be pretty sweet. Martinez was my Vice, so at least he'll get 3 more points too

Yes Dallas and Cancello will come on for you as it won't break any of the formation rules. So you're doing pretty well!

Can I have my sub keeper too? lol, Aubamayang is also a no show. I'll take whetever I can get though, Average is ahead of me atm!
 
Lost to Average by a point, that'll be Bamford in for DCL, it was my only non free transfer. Oh well, if I'm struggling to beat the average now I've no hope,may as well just play about with the team now
 
A low scoring week for a lot of teams, including myself. :( Despite that, Klopp Klopp Boom (45) increase their lead at the top by having a slightly better week than Amber Army (37). Farcealona (38), Penfold's Dangermice (50) and Hardly Athletic (47) stay in 3rd, 4th and 5th.

The average point score for the week was 43 points.

Highest scorer for the week was DTFCSnapper with 84 points. :oops: :$:clap:

After having a poor week for the first time in awhile with 39 points, I drop two places to 12th. :( :LOL:

Because of the FA Cup games, there are only four games in this gameweek before the international break, and one of them is also on Friday night, so the deadline for changes this week is Fri 19th Mar @18:30.

Klopp Klopp Boom increase their lead at the top of the TP H2H League to eight points after winning their H2H against Biggin Bangers 45 - 32. Because of that result, Biggin Banger missed out on the chance to go up into 2nd place, and stay two points behind Amber Army who lost a (not very close) H2H with horspath hounds 37- 79. :oops: :$

That was not the largest points difference though, as DTFC Snapper beat (now bottom of the league :() Rotund FC 84 - 29.

Rotund FC are now bottom because AVERAGE won their H2H against Ball Oxes in a very close 43 - 42 to move off the bottom by one point.

Next to take on AVERAGE are JUSTSTAYEDUP. Semoga sukses. ;)

I would have lost a H2H against AVERAGE too, but it would have been a closer result than the one I had losing to Hardly Athletic 39 - 47. :rolleyes: My loss drops me a position to 11th. :(

I've used my 2 free transfers, and will have 8 players this week, plus Son if he has a miracle recovery.
One of the transfers is very negative though, Martinez who wasn't in my plans, is too expensive and doesn't have great fixtures! Brought in just because the chasing pack in my work league all have him and I don't want to let them gain ground. It's the only time I've done that this season, going against my gut instinct and it didn't feel right! I'm sure I'll want shot of him soon, but there's not many games left now to be messing about with keepers.

Interesting, I'm a bit spoiled on the keeper side , Martinez is my main and Messlier my sub. Some weeks Messlier has scored more and I'm switching him in this week as I think that match has more chance of CS, though Martinez does pull off the saves. Coin flip!

I can make 11 players with 3 changes [that is if Bamford plays] it'll cost 8pts as one is free. I have a couple of possible line ups in mind but waiting for the Europa games to end later first. Will be in work tomorrow so want to do my changes tonight or I know I'll forget ... as I also plan to go shopping and buy beers after work

Messlier, 5 saves, doesn't make the bonus points cut in an away win .... who scores these things? Bamford ok, goal + an assist, Harrison only an assist and Raphina just that goal. Whatever happened to a save for a keeper being good as an assist?

I didn't see the match, but the bonus points seem strange, [was eyeing live text commentary updates] really don't get how Harrison got in there [was only mentioned for that one assist] as Messlier was mentioned more, seems to have done more - as in .... kept them from possibly losing! Oh well, it's like in the UFC when the judges scores are a bit crazy and the guy who dominated the bout loses by a point, nothing can be done once judges have their say. This is why they have the saying in combat sports 'don't leave it to the judges' - go for the KO, or completely dominate, I'm sure Harrison must have created some good plays to deserve the points in the end

I'll take the 16, would have been very sweet if Leeds kept a CS, alas, I'll take what I can get - every point counts when you start -8! :D

I have 10 players that could potentially play this week, but I was considering making changes because 3 players had/have injury worries, Bamford. Saka and Son. I decided not to pull the trigger on the transfers, as the main player who isn't playing, Fernandes, I didn't really want to transfer out just for this one week. So far it has worked out with Bamford playing, scoring and assisting for 11 points, and 5 more points from Dallas and Meslier. 16 points is OK from one game. Saka and Son may still not play, with Son the more likely not to play, but fingers crossed. :)

I managed to get 11 active players, none playing today but 8 possible for tomorrow. I had the same 3 for Leeds, could have been worse, it was their atrocious defending cost us the CS. Dallas was actually playing MF by the looks of the team set up before the game. Leeds are definitely a more attacking team [they had 2 goals dissalowed before Baford's goal] , their defenders are always going to be a risk but if Dallas is midfield now we would still get the CS as he'll stay as 'Def' on the site. Like Aubamayang is down as MF for Arsenal but is actually playing as a striker [with him you can have 4 strikers, as I do atm]

I still have 2 MC players on the bench and one United defender good to swing back in for next round.
