Took a while to get going IMO, but was a good "grounding" course in the basic elements of digital photography and composition.
If you can navigate it (the first incarnation was awful!), the forum is worth getting involved in, as the course is much better when viewed as a "community" course rather than a solitary one I think as the feedback and critique from others is invaluable in the learning process.

And it was a bit of a shambles but hopefully it has improved
and don't forget you are entitled to student discounts on Adobe stuff
Should you so disire I got my CS3 that way about £150 IIRC

Yep CS3 and Lightroom 2 already ordered and delivered, just need to get my student details emailed back to Adobe. CS3 extended for £120 and Lightroom 2 for £68. CS4 now seems to be on www.student-software.co.uk as well![]()
