I've currently got a basic tripod that has a single, central column that slides up and down vertically and there is no way of tilting it or inclining it like you can on some other tripod brands e.g. the Manfrotto 055 range, in order to clear the central part of the tripod?
Can anyone recommend a decent T-Bar or cross arm that I could attach to the top of my current tripod that would allow me to position a camera over a table for macro shots or angle the camera away from the central comlumn? It would only be for indoor use and doesn't need to be light...
The ones I have found so far are either really expensive (see below), and not very flexible in terms of positioning, or really cheap and nasty. The one below is ~£130, for a little bit extra I could buy an 055! Something around the £50-£60 would be good.
