
I managed to get this shot last night.
The Southern Hemisphere moon seems to have a few more cracks in it, than that up north??

Never mind it's only another 18 years before it will be this low again.Not long now.
Actually, it'll be closer in November 2016. I keep saying it, there's nothing special about this Moon.

I love that and was just what I had in mind, thanks Sorry, didn't realise this was directed at me. :bonk:
It was taken with a Canon 550D, 400mm focal length with f/8 and an exposure time of 1/200. On a tripod, with MLU enabled and a remote to avoid touching it in any way.![]()

I still think processing to pull the colours out does wonders for a full moon shot.
