Stupid Wheelie Bins!

Ok as a beginner im going to ask some serious silly questions here.

1. How the hell did the dirt get there! (Ive not changed lens since i go tthe camera) could it be on the outside of the lens?

2. How the hell do i get it off?

:shake::shake:

On my one it seems they get in when I use the 18-135 lens.

If you want to check if it is on the sensor take a couple shots at f22 of the sky or white background.

To clean it I use a lenspens sensoklear.

Thanks will try it out and see.

You could also just try a rocket blower and blow the dust out.
The wheely bins are a problem but same could be said for all the fencing too

The Bins could be cloned out without much of a problem

Les ;)

Hi David,

I like this image it has potential, as has been said a bit of careful clone tool work and the bins and other issues could easily be taken out, in fact I have taken them out quickly but then I realised that you have the no edit box ticked so I will not post unless you give permission :D

If you don't give permission I will of course delete the image from my computer

Okay here you go, it's not a perfect edit as I was only working with a 800px wide image ;) but it shows what can be achieved...

Ermm no.. user error on this one.. the best zoom/tool you have is your legs.. if you'd walked past the bins.. no problem..

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but people tend to not think about moving to get the shot these days

It was blocked of with security for a marathon !!

As you've posted a photo in the 'Talk' section, rather than the photo sharing one, I'm not sure you're best qualified to be passing judgement on the bins, wheelie or otherwise :naughty::lol:

Did you get off the sensor-blob? :-) I like the picture, just a little job in photoshop, and its good to go.

Yeah I did ;) :D unless I missed one, I did the big one on the top left of the sky I didn't notice any others

If the OP would like me to have a play with the original drop me a PM

zoom lenses can pull dirt in with the elements moving around inside pumping air in and out.

e2a: try a [rocket] blower first before resorting to anything else.
