when I sold everything to buy a single focal length camera, 28mm, I did so to remove the distraction of choice.
Now I'm looking of getting into professional photography (again) I decided I will need a workhorse camera (d750)
I'm in Vienna using 85mm and the d750 and 28mm on the other camera. The reasoning was mostly to become familiar with the Nikon which is fine.
I did find myself opting to use the 85mm too much though, i started to feel very lazy and spent two days neglecting the 28mm which I now (kind of) regret.
It made me think more about the choice of a zoom for street. How it could become to easy to shoot long, and at the same time you forget to even 'think' about the wide potential.
So I will avoid the 85mm out again I think it is a detriment to my vision.
