While I was away in Venice the week before last I was just about to get on a bus and a group of 7-8 German Photographers entered the bus stop, one chap had 2 cameras attached to his camera strap.
I'd never seen anybody with 2 cameras in this way so I said 'stereo photography?' he smiled and nodded his head. I gestured could I take a picture of his cameras, and he nodded again. So here it is.
As you may be able to see, he had the 2 cameras (2x Canon 500Ds) attached to a piece of metal and a strap of material wrapped around both lenses which allows them to focus together. He also had what looked like a remote cable release attached to the side of one of the cameras, which I assume was controlling both cameras.
Anybody here do stereo/3D photography?
And if so, how do you view the pictures?
I would have loved to have seen the results he got.
