New laptop time!
For photo editing on the move and Internetery... and that's about it!
I'm currently using a Lenovo ThinkPad T420 IntelCore i5 6GB Memory 120 GB SSD Hard Drive which I bought reconditioned in 2017
Things I don't like about it: It's getting a bit slugish with the latest Lightroom /PS incarnations and I don't like the screen...tilting it or changing position greatly affects the "brightness".
What I would like:
Windows! (Yes, I know. But I'm familiar with it.)
I'm not bothererd about latest lightest, slimline...weight / size not a major concern.
1TB Memory...I think that should be enough. I'll be using it for festivals, holidays etc then transfering to desktop when home.
Must be fast enough and have enough oomph to handle anything Adobe can chuck at it now and for the next 5 years.
Must have fabulous screen not affected by this tilting bussiness and be calibratable (Currently using a Spyder 5Pro)
Must have enough usb sockets for external hard drive, mouse (Don't like track pads.) and DVD player...I assume they no longer come with them
I have no brand allegiance...I've had Dell in the past and had no problem, other than that I don't really care.
If budget wasn't an issue (Within reason!) what would you buy?
What about this for starters?
