I think the replies are getting a little mixed up here  anyhoo

Cos if he was on your side of the road you should consider putting your foot on the brake so you do not not kill yourself or anyone else - simple really

As an old fart, I really think everyone should have to pass their motorbike test before being allowed to even learn to drive a car. Road condition awareness skills would be much enhanced and would hopefully lead to safer driving standards.

I've never seen the point in go-faster stripes (70's specials on many cars) and stuck on big-bore exhausts that do nothing for performance enhancement. However, proper race cans (the ones with the little ally patch over the word NOT) together with high-lift cams and a good dose of engine port polishing and air-box enhancement..... they can be worth having, but you still need the driving skills to be able to use the enhancements properly.

No thanks, I enjoy my organs being inside my body :D

heh... you're not wrong, they're lovely and snug on the inside! Have to agree with Grockle though, I did my bike test about ten years after my car test and it didn't half make me a better & safer driver.

That is exactly the reason why you should do it. The awareness skills you learn from using a motorbike properly transfer automatically to your car driving skills.

Your reaction times will be quicker than others because you have read the conditions more accurately than most people can.

bit more offensive than here though  :D

Yep, one does need to get out of "Barryboy" mode before coming on here.......
