Murder?
If so I assume a big and heavy blunt instrument is needed so I choose a Canon 1D.
.

I don't honestly know what camera I'd choose as I'm very happy with my current line up and don't have any desire for anything at the mo, at least nothing currently on the market.
What was I thinking, I'd have the Leica M (probably 240) of course
I don't honestly know what camera I'd choose as I'm very happy with my current line up and don't have any desire for anything at the mo, at least nothing currently on the market. Ideally I'd like a camera with a D750 body (but with the joystick from the D500), 36mp sensor (for cropping), D5's AF system, and mirrorless speed liveview
Of the current cameras there's nothing in the Nikon range that would make me want to part with my D750 so I'd probably say the XT2 to replace my XT1, although preferably I'd wait for the GSE![]()
I have a Sony A7 and three MFT cameras. I suppose I could be tempted by a Sony A7III or IV if it has the speed of operation of one of the newer MFT cameras which are effectively instantaneous. I could also be tempted by some future RF style Panasonic MFT if they do something about the (IMO) poor field sequential EVF the GX80 has, like take it off, throw it away and fit a better one.
Have thought about the Fuji's but on balance they're not for me for the reasons I've stated in the various threads.Should try one of the new Fuji's their speed of operation is almost on par with any Nikon I've had.

Maybe the GFX 50S, but only because you're imposing no restrictions and I'm intrigued to try it.
If it was within my normal spend limit I'd have done it already [emoji1]Ok something that's within your normal spend limits

You'll never dig your way out of a 61% classifieds ratio going about it this way![]()

TBH it's pointless trying to make your mind up based on what other people use, we are all different, all have different wants/needs and all shoot different things. Just get what is right for youok.
My reasoning behind the thread, was to help me make my mind up really.
I have been after a fast long lens, to be more specific the canon 70-200mm f2.8 ll
But I really like the look of The new Fuji Xt2.
Massive indecision moment - The question I keep asking myself which one would i get the most use out of...
so I was just seeing how many people are after the fuji
daft it may seem I know but was seeing what people camera they would by next alongside/ replace there current kit
ok.

If you are going to replace DSLR kit why not dip your toe in the water before you jump to make sure that you're happy with the handling and use of CSC's? XT2's are expensive things so to make sure you're happy you could borrow or hire one or buy something cheaper to try and decide if you'll be happy. The cheaper stuff may not have the ultimate performance of the latest kit but you'll be able to judge if you're happy with the EVF experience and general handling.
I got to hate carrying a Canon 5D about so I bought a new Panasonic GF1 but decided that I couldn't live without a VF and so moved to a cheap used G1 and it was that camera that convinced me that CSC's were the way forward for me.
