Its something I fancy trying but I think I will need an SLR due to the limited exposure of my X10! Completely agree with your view on the 365 and thats what I am trying to do too, try out new stuff, learn and have fun Well done Simon and what a great start to star trails etc!Its something I fancy trying but I think I will need an SLR due to the limited exposure of my X10! Ooh that is interesting!! How cool!?

Oooh, very well captured.
Lovely shot! When is it due tonight?

Love your IIS shot. Alright, as a stand alone image it may not be particularly impressive, but when you understand what it is it becomes suddenly really cool.
The space station shot is interesting, I didnt even hear it mentioned that it was about.
Not so sure about your darts shot though.
Crsip and colourful darts shot Simon very different indeed
Very crisp and clear![]()
'The power'.....chuckle!!!!!
Clear crisp shot I like it alot!!
He is a cutie, but wipe his face before you take his picture you bad uncle :nono:
I love that look he is giving you!!
; ISS was great, didn't even know about that!; the darts one is very good, vibrant, interesting, good focus....makes me think you missed the mark with your comment about the camera....surely the whole point of darts is that you can play with a pint on every finger of your non-dart hand and drink them all at once?
A measly D7000 should be easy!; your nephew has great eyes, but I thin you were starting to push your luck - he looks about 17 seconds away from meltdown!
; bananas are OK, but the reason I never bother too much with fruit & veg is that you really have to cut into it to make it look good! Can't be bothered with that so stay away!
As you know, catch up time here!!!
Already I hate you (read 'jealous of you') for having a much better photo of a tit than I could manage ; ISS was great, didn't even know about that!; the darts one is very good, vibrant, interesting, good focus....makes me think you missed the mark with your comment about the camera....surely the whole point of darts is that you can play with a pint on every finger of your non-dart hand and drink them all at once?

Ha ha your nephew looks cool. Love his expression.
Sam's right about the fruit though; you really need to cut into them. Especially bananas which should all be chopped into tiny little pieces or otherwise annihilated as they were planted by the devil.
Nice lighting on the bananas![]()
Good light on the bananas and another "bad uncle" from me for not face wiping
THink the weather is getting to us all, I've got lots of local village shots planned, but the light is just so rubbish it gets you down. Looking out of my office window today and it looks pants.
I love the darts shot! Thats a good game too, I play my brother at it! Like the bananas too!![]()
Works well with nice use of selective colour.
Great use of sc works well here! I like it!
I bet it drives you nuts..... Kids love pressing it!
I really like this - one of the selective colouring ones that hits the mark for me!!
I don't know about 'sat' at the back - with that angle (which works so well) I would have said SLUMPED at the back!!!![]()
I don't usually like selective colour - but it works here!![]()
That works really well simon
Selective colouring works well for me![]()
