No2 for me I think.

Thanks David.Lovely set. I agree with your choice.
Might be interesting to try some ICM on the line of trees.
Thanks Bee. I'll be sure to go back in the autumn and get another shot!I'm sure it may well look 'lovelier' in the autumn, but that is an impressive tree lined path. The colours are still beautiful. I think you chose the right one.
I quite like the composition of Barrybados![]()
I look forward to seeing it - let's hope there is a theme that fits! Thanks Bee. I'll be sure to go back in the autumn and get another shot!
Thanks Pete - it's certainly jungle-esque just there!A great set Simon. I really like the river one. The foliage is so dense it looks like you're just discovering that part of the river.
Thank you Dave!Cool set of tree shots, I love that last one.
Thanks Bill! Much appreciated.Good set of images Simon, I really love the wild garlic shot.
Thanks HelenYou have a good selection of shots.. I think I am with you on the chosen shot for the perspective and leading line. It's a shame we can't control the light but that's all part of the challenge of landscapes too.

Thanks Peter2nd shot for me. Really good bokeh.
Great idea.
Thanks Bill. I see what you mean about the railing images.Nice set Simon. I think that #2 is the stronger image of the two Marconi shots. Having the cutout that has the bar running through it kind of pushes my eye to either side where the unobstructed holes are.
I also like #4 for the story. The sense that the viewer is walking through a dark passage into the light.
Thanks Pete, appreciate your comments!Nice series Simon, though I too prefer the second for the theme as it draws you into the shot more.
I think the third is a terrific ”stand alone“ pic and l would have been well pleased had I shot it.

Sunset by Simon Hiscocks, on FlickrThanks Pete! Two lovely shots this week Simon. I prefer the second and you don’t have to lighten the beach for me.
Thank you JimBoth very nice, I prefer the first as the colours and clouds really work for me.
Cheers Nick! Good point about the lens flare. I had two shots almost identical. One had the flare the other didn’t.I really like the shapes on #2, and I think the beach is fine as is it, the light on the pebbles is subtle, but enough. The only thing I'd fix is the little lens flare blob in the sea.
I like how solid the clouds seem in #1 too, and the fade in the sky is lovely.
Thanks SimonLovely pictures and if I had to pick it would be the first one because of the clouds giving that little bit extra!
Thanks HelenI also prefer #2 for the lines and composition with the hint of a reflection on the stones.
