Wonderful shot Simon, love the DOF and the hint of the reflection.
Thanks Bill! That’s very kind.Wonderful shot Simon, love the DOF and the hint of the reflection.
Thanks Dave!Liking the daff and snail shots the most very nice.
Thanks Kell!Love the snail shot.
Think that's excellent.
Thanks Duncan.Great image Simon, fills the challenge brief for theme & tech.
You do get to wondering were and why it's going that way ... even more baffling is when they turn round ... what have they forgotten![]()
Thanks Pete!Nice damp flowers Simon, the snail is ace as well.
All worthy contenders, I do like the portrait flower with the water drops "hanging on for dear life"
Your explanation on the snail image makes sense, especially when it's an effort to move any distance.
Thank you both! That’s a lovely snail shot Simon. I like it a lot.
Thanks JimNice shots for Damp, lovely clarity and sharpness and fits the theme nicely.
Thank you Helen!Damp is an excellent shot. Great use of negative space and a lovely dof.

P1060203 by Simon Hiscocks, on FlickrThanks Peter!I think you have done well with the first one.
It fits the theme and is a strong image.
Thanks HelenYour chosen shot works for me too.. it is a bit tightly cropped but obviously that was needed. However, there is a lot to see in the image...
Me too - used to live in Lincolnshire, and would see all manner of military aviation overhead - Phantoms, F-111s, A10's, Vulcans, Starfighters and more.....Yep - No1 for the theme. No4 for the plane geek factor... love a Phantom!
Thanks Bee. ”Clamber” is about right. I near rocked my back trying to get into a couple of the seats. God knows how the pilots mange in full flying kit In some of those planes. They must be contortionists! The first fits the theme well, but I'd say no. 2 does as well. Amazing that they let you clamber into the planes!
Thanks StanNice set of images you've taken there, Simon. The cockpit view is different as it's not a view you see often. I like the square crop of the Sweet Shoppe window. Almost perfect symmetry.
Thanks Duncan - some real blasts from the past in there.....Chosen image fits the theme well, an interesting and dangerous shoppe to visit .. just looking put the pounds on
Thanks for the feedback Pete.Old fashioned theme from you this week, the sweet shop thro' a window works very well given the constraints you had, the colours and light within the window is nice.
Them old phamtoms look scary old as well, these days pilots are not required for drones and could't fly todays planes with out massive computer help so it must have been good to sit in one.
Pete
Ha ha! I never thought of thatI think your chosen shot is the best Simon, your second one would be cool if you could photoshop the windows to show blue sky and clouds!
