One thing that came into my head lately is we focus a lot on security with our phones with PIN and biometric but something I have just become aware of is how easy it is for
someone who steals your phone to simply place the SIM in a new phone and essentially override these things and gain access to you number to use for receiving calls or text to
compromise say a bank transaction, the solution is to enable SIM lock which means if someone tries to do that they are prompted to enter a PIN of your choice when they power up you SIM in a new phone.
worth checking if you have this setup folks.
