My usually-reliable Sigma EF-530 Super flashgun caused me a little grief tonight. For some reason, the flashgun doesn't seem to want to communicate with the camera. In its normal auto mode, the flash will only fire at full output, leading to hugely over-exposed shots. It also won't auto-zoom with the lens like it used to.
I managed to continue the shoot in fully-manual mode, guessing at appropriate settings, and for the most part it worked ok, although I missed a few shots because I was on the wrong setting.
Has anyone had this problem before? Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.
