Hi, i recently picked up a nice cheap sigma 70-200 on the bay. however, i am having some serious focusing issues with it. Here is an example of what happens. I was using the centre AF point.

the posts on the LHS are nice and sharp, which suggests to me that the lens is backfocusing a bit. Is this repairable, and does it make financial sense to do so? There is no obvious damage to the lens, and the seller assures me that it produced excellent shots for him when he last used it. might this have been caused by a knock in transit?
cheers.
