What would be a good price for this lens second hand and how good is the lens
I have one, it is sharp, takes the 1.4 TC well, easy to use and I don`t find it heavy.
If you read all the tripe about Sigma lenses on the net forums you would never buy a Sigma lens and they would never sell one.
thanks for the info, i have just bought one the dg version does it work well with the kenko pro 1.4?
Well done....anyone else looking at this thread also needs to be aware that the non-DG version comes with the smaller tripod collar which can't double as a carry handle.
Seems that way then...google for images of the DG version and you'll see the difference. A replacement TS-41 will set you back a fair bit, but it could prevent you dropping the beast!
While we are on the subject of Sigma lenses, anyone had any experience with the sigma 300mm 2.8?
Cheers
Can anyone shed light on a suitable backpack that will take this lens attached to a Nikon body with battery grip and still be within the weight and dimension limits for airport hand luggage?
Thanks
