I've been having problems since I started buying and using a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM lens when I bought a few years ago.
When I bought it I didn't use it much because I thought there was something wrong with the lens focussing on the left hand side of all my photos. They all soft.
I decided to email Sigma(UK) about it. They said they couldn't do anything with it, so they sent it to Hong Kong. They adjusted the lens a bit and sent it back... I tried it and it still wasn't up to my expectations.
I didn't use it for a while, and I eventually took it to a local shop. He had it for a week and he said there was nothing wrong with it. He said it was sharp when placed on a tripod.
But I beg to differ.
Anyway, I've decided to use it more often.
My question is. How can I use it more?
I always use the centre AF point on the camera and have it in P all the time with the occasional AV mode selected.
