I was talking to a curator at the museum who examined the architectural drawings, every little part of this structure is documented in the tiniest detail, more than meets the eye in this shot, although, looking at the negative scan at full size you can really appreciate the details

You look very female Peter ! At first I thought maybe it's reversed but the writing on the film Box is correct !

Thanks for the complement, mixing left and right seems to be a bit of a feminine trait but doesn't always cause me a problem. Of, course, it's me on the left.

From the first "test roll" of film I shot and developed myself, around November / December 2021...

An industrial storage (or pressurisation?) tank, Washington, Tyne & Wear. Taken with an old Agfa Isola II on Fomapan 200, developed in Fomadon R09 (Rodinal), home digitised and converted / cleaned-up* in Darktable.

* For my first attempt at home developing, I was wearing a favourite "hairy" wool pullover, and managed to get lots of fibres onto the wet negatives when handling and hanging them to dry. I was able to remove most of them later, but in doing so I left a few marks on the negatives that showed up in digitising. Thank heavens for clone & heal in post. I learned a valuable lesson that day: when developing, digitising or doing anything else with film, wear appropriate clothing that won't shed fibres!

I caught a bit of flare on this one, but I still quite like it.

The last one from the roll of APX 100 I mucked up in Lincoln (although there are others I've not posted her on my Flickr site). I'll start boring you with some colour stuff I shot on the same day soon. :D

New (to me) Minolta SRT101. Bought an 85/1.7 and the camera was thrown in with it. It's not working very well. Light meter's not working properly. And I've just discovered that the seals have gone too. Some of the shots, from certain angles, have got a light patch in the middle.

These were with Kodak Gold 200 and a Minolta 58/1.4

Dev and scanned by FilmDev. PP in LightRoom.

Contrasting photos from within a few days, on one roll of HP5 from January...

a) Castle in fog and light snow

2501CPMXBW16 Sunday stile.jpg

b) A few days and 20 frames later, after the thaw, the flood

2501CPMXBW36 Castle flood.jpg

Both taken with my Pentax MX (not sure if this is the 3rd or 4th... I'm taking a bit more care with the wind-on these days, and also trying not to throw them down mountains!) with the SMC Pentax-M 35mm f/2 lens, devved by The Darkroom UK in XTOL and scanned with my ancient Plustek 7500i.

Another old shot with the Hasselblad: Malmsbury Market Cross. Through the centre opening is the later wall and gateway to Malmsbury Abbey, This Wikipedia article describes it better than I could...

This week's Silent Sunday post...

Pentax LX, Fuji Superia 400. At a push, I'd guess the SMC Pentax-M 100mm f/4 lens, based on surrounding frames plus my reluctance to change lenses mid-film!

Poplar reflections (how we could do with some of that water now!)

Pentax MX, SMC Pentax-M 35mm f/2, yellow filter, HP5, developed by The Darkroom UK in XTOL, home scanned on a Plustek 7500i with Vuescan Pro.
