I went to drop some films off for processing last week and called in at Jumilhac Le Grand on route. Unfortunately it was more Jumilhac le grand traveaux with all the roads and car park dug up to lay new water mains. This is the only shot that I could manage that is worthy of showing. Taken with Contax RTS, Zeiss 28-85, Kodak Pro Image

My Silent Sunday photo for today:

CS76C04_Adj Sunday creek K.jpg

Taken on Kodachrome with my Pentax Electro Spotmatic and a Takumar 55/1.8 lens (can't remember which exactly, but one of the last, auto Taks) in 1976, in the northern Flinders Ranges, mid north of South Australia.

The creeks there are normally dry, and are used by vehicles, but there must have been some recent rain here. The area around Arkaroola up there was one of my favourite places, BC!

Pompadour in the Correze Department is where the French National Stud is based and also serves as a centre for all sorts of equine events. There are over 150 events a year, but when I dropped in on my way to the film developers it was deserted. You can freely wander around the stables and arenas. I thought that the empty stable blocks were quite eerie. And I had some exposures to use up before dropping the films off.

Ektar 100, eight years out-of-date, doesn't seem to keep as well as Fuji colour negative film, look at that magenta cast in the under exposed areas, mind you it was well underexposed
