Just scanned a roll of PanF which I took on the C220 at the Abbey Hill Steam Rally back in April. All of them are out of focus (focus seems to be a foot or two in front of the subject), but this one is sort of ok, and I really like it anyway so it's still a keeper lol.

Got some odd looking bucket that one, and grain for panf, you might have sharpened it a bit though in post if the focus is off, i dunno.
Its got some barrel roll in the bottom corners and the bucket suggests you might have moved a bit, hence it appears to be focus error when in fact it could be movement..
just musing, its tough to make a solid analysis when you don't know what happened in post, you can only proffer possibilities..
I don't think I moved as I was focusing on him right up until I pressed the shutter, but I may well have done without realising. Usually if one or two from a roll is OOF then I put it down to user error but the last 3 rolls or so have all been out of focus by about the same amount. This is the camera that I dropped in Paris in January and I think I've managed to knock the focus between the lenses out (well, I assume that's what's happened). Guess I could test this by sticking it on a tripod and putting a meter rule along a table leading away from the camera, and focusing on a certain number. If all the photos come out closer than that then I know the problem. Reckon that's a good way to check? It's certainly worth a try. I'd try at the working distances you use most- say up to 3.5m ish.Hmm that's a term I've not come across before... what is bucket? lol. Yeah I think I have sharpened it a bit but perhaps I went a bit overboardI don't think I moved as I was focusing on him right up until I pressed the shutter, but I may well have done without realising. Well Lucas the line on the film could be caused by a spec of dirt on the cassette felt or stuck to the pressure plate...sometimes I get it but am not sure if it's my fault or Asda.
Will give it a cleanIts probably a scanning artefacts its too straight to be the film I'd say. Check the calibration area at the very top of scanner is very clean and rescan if needed.

Thank you very muchCongratulations!
Was the film flat in regard to the focussing issue?Just scanned a roll of PanF which I took on the C220 at the Abbey Hill Steam Rally back in April.
