Pit bottom!
This is the underground view you are met with in a coal mine when you step out of the cage at the bottom of the lift shaft. Taken in Yorkshire on Kodak Portra 400 - 120 film.
I just love how consistently high the quality of your work is, Mart. Seriously classy stuff!![]()

On Portra 160

Looks like the new Yash is working nicely Andy, you always seem to get some fantastic views when you go to the Lakes, doesn't the CMS get tired carrying you up all those fells?
No the sky wasn't that colour .....it was overcast but it didn't have a colour cast ...I'll edit it in a min.I like that image Asha... was the sky that colour?... what film did you use?.
I see you've edited it... although, I think it looked good originally, gave a warm feel to it...No the sky wasn't that colour .....it was overcast but it didn't have a colour cast ...I'll edit it in a min.

Thanks J. Luckily he has never quite sniffed a hare or rabbit, although He has several times tried chasing crows and rooks across a field. He is quick.I really like that shot Paul; the character of the dog shines out of the photo. I can almost see his nose twitching for rabbits.
Rannerdale-Knotts by Andy, on FlickrMartin Parr would be happy with that one - a great image. The chap sitting down is not much of an advert for the establishment, mind.Another one hot off the scanner...

Once I've finished the roll of Portra I used on the same trip I'll be doing a blog article which shows exactly where the rocks are.Oh I really like that Kevin. I must try and get up that way, looks very interesting.
Ive had a look and yes the dots are on the negatives so i presume its the film or the development process at fault?Great result for your first roll. As far as the dots go it's hard to tell, are there dots on the negatives?
