Show us yer film shots then!

I just love how consistently high the quality of your work is, Mart. Seriously classy stuff! :)

Thanks Paul, you are very kind.
I've been very lucky to have access to all of these mines over the years and to do for a living what I enjoy as a hobby.

First one from the new Yashica 12. Very nice camera to use, well made and a bit bigger and heavier than the Rollieflex, but not by much.

Nice atmospheric shot for the conditions....but I've never forgot a similar shot like that in a mag, umpteen plus years ago, and the guy by luck or he waited till a shaft of sunlight lit up the centre bit...

Looks like the new Yash is working nicely Andy, you always seem to get some fantastic views when you go to the Lakes, doesn't the CMS get tired carrying you up all those fells?

^^ Those are superb RJ.

Yes, she does get a bit weary but that's what she signed up for and being married to me is a joy (apparently).:D

I like that image Asha... was the sky that colour?... what film did you use?.

No the sky wasn't that colour .....it was overcast but it didn't have a colour cast ...I'll edit it in a min.

Was Portra 400 shot through a yashica 124G

I see you've edited it... although, I think it looked good originally, gave a warm feel to it...

:banghead:

:D:D
You'll end up with a headache you keep banging it against a wall lol...
I did say I liked the original image... and I was just wondering if that was the colour of the sky, didn't say you had to change it :ROFLMAO:

@ simon ess I like the way the light reflected on the water leads out into the distant shoreline and the tones are ace.

I'm just not sure if it aint leaning a tad to the right or is it me not sitting straight:thinking::D

Am I allowed to add 'pre-developed' shots into this thread? ;0)

Just got in after a few enjoyable hours trying to shoot some landscapes with @moomike and a selection of kit. Mike was using his LF Monorail and I was shooting Yashica 635 and Mamiya Super 23.

All good fun and nice to be out shooting landscapes again although the massive cloud bank spoiled any chance of a sunset. Oh well, better luck next time!

I take it you weren't using 35mm in your 635, either way I look forward to seeing the results.

No, I'm missing the push on adaptor that fits between the film and the spool on the camera so can't use 35mm in it yet. There is something unique about looking down on a WLF though :0)

Cheers again @stevelmx5, looking forward to seeing what you got from tonight - was certainly an entertaining evening - softly spoken Polish people, wind blowing a gale so I looked like some batman impersonator with the dark cloth whipping all over the show, and jokes so bad they were actually good :) Haha, should be able to see if I got anything from my momentous 1 (yep, 1) shot tomorrow :)

My First ever roll of film! Its an expired roll of Lucky 100 ISO its got some strange large dots all over it too? Is this because its expired or have i or the lab done something wrong?

Really pleased with the results for my first roll of film ever though and was a lot of fun even if it took nearly 2 weeks to get it back from the lab! I'm defiantly looking into developing myself after that.

Great result for your first roll. As far as the dots go it's hard to tell, are there dots on the negatives?

Here are some from March,Asha,s visit. This was the first morning down on the Thames/Medway estuary. The last one is the following day at Reculver castle.

All taken with Fuji GSW690II on Velvia 100f.

Ive had a look and yes the dots are on the negatives so i presume its the film or the development process at fault?
