Thanks Woodsy. I took it near the summit of Moel Siabod, a mountain in Snowdonia. First time I've been up there in the last five years or so - it has a panoramic view over all the main mountains in Snowdonia, so will definitely be going up there again soon!

One from the 6 rolls i shot in New York last week.
Acros 100 through the Fuji GW690, could have done with a yellow filter to try and pull some detail out of the flat sky

Cheers Nick, I loved the poster so i went and found the location and it didn't disappoint. The hard bit was trying to meter and expose whilst ducking in and out of moving traffic :D
 
A couple more from the new F75. This time I stuck my 35mm DX lens on it. It did not work very well it seems VERY soft. These were the best of a bad bunch. Shot on FP4 and developed in HC110 dilution B:

Nick, I like both of those,nice mon tones and nice geometric composition. Also the vignetting with the DX lens is far less than I expected. I guess the softness is a bigger issue from what you say.

I've got all of my black and white devved and my slide is heading off to Peak whenever i get down to the post office.

It's just getting around to having a scanning session to get through my 6 or 7 roll backlog :shake:

Oh yes.

Would be brilliant if I can get this drum scanner running properly then i can mount 2 or 3 rolls worth and set it to batch scan, granted, that will probably take a few days to run :thumbs:

Which will probably turn into you lumbering me with scanning them because you can't be arsed! :lol:

I do love that shot though, and to be honest I don't think it *needs* detail in the sky to work. I don't see it like a landscape shot where you're trying to get 'perfect' exposure in the entire frame, that one's all about mood and with detail in the sky or not it still has mood by the train load. I don't think having the detail there could make it any moodier personally.

This is 10/10. Love it. Good contrasty blacks as well.
 
Some cracking shots as always on here.....

osh : the first shot (dawn) reaaly stands out for me...just love the mood and the reflection.....not that there's anything wrong with the other two shots mindst. You really do produce some superb work!

Rob : I'd have that shot postered! If that's ataster of what you captured in the US then i can't wait to see more!

One thing i can say, this Fuji has a sodding sharp lens, makes the RB67 lenses look like they've come from a Holga :nuts:

This skyline shot looks even better on Flickr so it must look stunning in real life, would love to see a proper b&w print.

Enlarged to max on Flickr it does indeed look brilliant, wonderful sharp shot with bundles of character.
 
Top marks to AG Photo - I sent 5 rolls off to them last Monday and got them back on Friday. No colour shifts, beautifully clean and scratch free negs. I got the MF rolls scanned in over the weekend.

Pentax 645, 75mm, Velvia 50 (5 years OOD, so exposed at iso 40)
